  1. You could order direct from the website www.liverpoolfc.tv

or try finding a website in Canada. You're in Toronto so there is probably a Liverpool supporters club or pub there (I think Liverpool have the most cities with fans worldwide along with Celtic, those Scots get everywhere ;)).

The liverpoolfc.tv forums will have people in Toronto/Canada who will help out though.

If I find anything I'll let you know.

Despite what man ure fans will have you believe, football (soccer) existed before 1990 and Liverpool are the most succesful English club there is, but that's not the only reason why they are liked. They don't call their fans customers like man utd do and are more a part of the city of Liverpool.

Of course none of these British clubs match the influence of Barcelona or Real Madrid who are integral parts of their cities and are fully democratic, with the fans being the owners :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  2. Ashamed to say I don't have any Dutch shirts, but maybe I should pick up one.

I have something like 6 England jerseys, a couple from English FCs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, a Real Madrid Beckham jersey, 2 Brazilian national, Portuguese national, and a whole bunch others at my house, but I forget what else there is. also have a huge amount of soccer t-shirts, something like 40 or so. I also have a few casual jackets, in fact I normally wear a silver-coloured longsleeved England tracksuit almost everyday.

You really need to get a Liverpool shirt :D

I recommend Alonso, Gerrard or Carragher (he had 23 long before Beckham) if you want the big name players. If you play and are skillful, you could get Kewell too.

There are some nice ones you can look at as well, the Mexico 2002 purple shirt is great. The Italy 2004 Goalkeeper shirt is great too as well as the stretchy Kappa ones. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  3. Hahaha, basketball player or Dutch....always asked at school if im a basketball player too. I like soccer though!!

I read the thread about the " Per without the 'r' ", Im just messin with ya mate! :)

    Floris

I'm the one who was the basketball player, at one point i could do a standing jump and grab hold of the ring easily. Wish I could go back to those unstoppable days but injuries have moved me into soccer :(

Well, in soccer I like to play attacking roles, like say Pablo Aimar or Kaka who plays behind the strikers and puts in the clever through passes :) I love to shoot and score from the half-way line in 5-a-side soccer matches too :) Finally i am getting some fitness and a little speed back then i'll be good again! Missed 6 months last year with ankle ligament injuries from playing outdoor in the park, damn potholes covered by grass !

  4. I wonder if this rep will be more valuable personally to you than a genuine watch ... I have a feeling that the effort it has taken will make it so much more, which is a much greater feeling than maxing out a credit card to get that nice one in the shop window even if they both cost the same :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  5. Go to Holland, pack your bags now, and go! Be sure to wear your soccer shirts too (yes, more than one, you'll need layers anyway, it can be pretty cold, haha)

5'11, perfect to be a dutchman! Im just a giant as people call me at school :p

My sister has a Polish friend who is 6'5 and everyone always asks him if he plays basketball or if he's Dutch.

I'm off to Newcastle next weekend, hopefully Cardiff in May (if Liverpool beat Chelsea to reach the FA Cup final) and Latvia for a friend's stag do end of May so I can't yet :(

The Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... is not pronounced like Pee its more like a stretched out Per without the R sound. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  6. Dutch too I hope?....I mean....don't you wanna look like us in Dutch-land?

Of course I have Dutch shirts, but I sold my Ajax one to an Ajax-nut friend of mine.

I have Cruyff and Van Basten Holland shirts :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Well, i *do* have to wear players names that best describe my ability :whistling:

Holland is so close, yet I haven't been there yet.

No way I could pass off as Dutch, I'm not tall enough! Only 5'11 !

  7. All replicas have flaws which can be spotted.. BUT you most remember to spot it people must be "in the know", generally you will find even owners of the originals will not be able to spot a decent fake as they have no reason to know about the flaws..

But you'll find avid genuine collectors, watch smiths (who see a lot of genuines) and other replica collectors will spot a fake no matter how good it is.

Or people like a friend of mine who thinks a genuine Omega is fake, and wouldn't pay more than USD30 for a genuine or replica Panerai... He never wears a watch :whistling:

  8. Sad to see this Joshua.

To everyone else, no point speculating how they got his password, for all we know his computer had a keystroke recorder on it... trust me you can find out passwords if someone's been on a computer. My ex-gf did it to her current bf so she could check his emails and see if he was emailing other girls! luckily never did it to me though.

As for slay, just be aware he and Josh are not the best of friends, Slay having had problems with Joshua's attitude towards him. It's slay's right not to like his manner, and Josh's not to want to deal with Slay (if that's what he does). Leave it at that.

Good luck, and i guess the admin email is working now :thumbsupsmileyanim:

PS. to anyone worried about scam emails, if you get one from pp or ebay etc asking you to click a link to confirm, the best way is open a new window and go to the site (eg type in ebay's address or pp's and check the spellings). DO NOT USE THE LINK. You will have PMs in there or whatever you need to do what the email said, if it was legitimate. What I tend to do is hover the mouse cursor over the link and look in the status bar at the bottom to see where the link really goes. You'll usually see something dodgy like www.papyall.com (mis-spelling) or say www.paypall-1.com etc A giveaway that it's not legitimate.

  9. Forgot to say the Canada jersey is for ice hockey.

I'd have more US Football and NHL jerseys if they weren't so "loud". When I was 18 that's all I would wear but nowadays it's sponsorless soccer jerseys like the Kappa ones, or say Real Madrid, Atletico, Barca, Borussia Dortmund, and national teams, Mexico, Italy, Spain etc etc.

  10. PPS. I got a friend of mine to get me a Toronto Mapleleads jersey, and a Canada jersey out in Toronto :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I just couldn't bring myself to wear a USA one though, so sorry to all the Americans on here. Like a Cnadian friend always tells me, Canadians are loved throughout the world but Americans not always are... and it's very true. And before anyone retaliates and I start off something, it's usually the Americans who leave their countries who are the most level-headed and know about the world of the Americans. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I've been to America a few times, one time for a month, and went all the way from CT, NYC, to NJ, PA, KY, OH, IN, Chicago, and other places in between :)

  11. PS. I was addcted to buying soccer jerseys, I have probably 100-150 of them now, so the Thailand ones are a good way of getting all those at cheap prices with a player's name on the back.

This jersey-buying eventually led me back to watches (an interest I had at 18) and to RWG... :yu:

  12. Damn, catch a few hours sleep and I miss out :(

I think the stitching is slightly inferior on the "Thailand" replica jerseys (funnily enough the original jersey bought in a shop is called a replica jersey too). That may come loose, and yes they tend to be slightly smaller than XL. Good thing I've lost weight since this time last year, I like those stretchy Kappa ones now :p

The other thing you can do is get a jersey just as a new design is coming out... then you get it cheap, although I got the last red England jersey with Carragher 23 on the back for 15 GBP (about 30 Canadian dollars).

I have rarely had a problem with numbers coming off the back of the fake jerseys, just the corner of the V on the VAN BASTEN Holland Jersey. The other problem was Cruyff was spelled incorrectly as CRYUFF on one, so I sent a pictur to the guy and he sent me a new one. The other problem was I couldn't get my neck through a XL Spain Away ALONSO 16 jersey, but again he sent a new one. This guy I get them from, I have dealt with over a year directly so it's no problem. He has the new Holland, Portugal, Spain, France, Brasil, Italy, Czech Republic and Ukraine shirts and includes the name and number in the price :thumbsupsmileyanim:

FYI, I've compared the store-bought jersey to the fake (Portugal home and Argentina away - I'd paid 25 GBP each for them without the names and numbers) and there isn't much in the way of difference or feel, just the size is usually not as big. I got a bunch of Liverpool ones made up last year with "Los Reyes De Europe 05" , "Champions of Europe 5 times" etc etc, no extra charges to get the champions league numbers or patches.

There are also sellers on eBay that have real shirts that are top quality though they tend to be old.

If allowed, look in the sales section of www.subsidesports.co.uk for sometime bargains, they tend to have the rare hard to find ones - I prefer shirts with no sponsor, so it's great to get that Kappa Napoli shirt etc.

    :victory:
