  1. Welcome, if you are anything like the rest of us, you will be spending lots of time here. Hold on to your wallet.
  2. I think it is ok to mirror quality how-to's, reviews, sales, and 'desperate' needs for help.
  3. "Attached" images that you upload to RWG automatically thumbnail. -vs- Hotlinking with IMG tag.
  4. I was able to clear the stitches on my thumb with this:
  5. Wow! That is outstanding! The Canadian Spa is the best. Are the hands from the original rep?
  6. Pikachu What is wrong with this picture. WTF.
  7. Thanks, that all makes sense. I will post pics in the future, after the six stitches come out of my thumb. This project is a learning project, and possibly "disposable" so my risk is minimal. Thanks again!
  8. Wow, just looking at the pics, it screams quality!
  9. I have some parts trickling in for a future, make shift, Daytona project. I have a 21J movement that has functioning seconds @ 6, in addition sweeping large second hand, and lazy moving 3 & 9 sub dials. In short. I want to freeze/lock/fix the large sweeping second hand, and 3 & 9 sub dials. The only thing I want running is the seconds @ 6 and hour/minute hands. Thoughts? (P.S. Tried Searching with no luck)
  10. First, I am in 100% agreement with Lani here, and use the same "guidelines" he mentioned. Next to play Devil's advocate regarding: This is a choose your altruistic path kind of a thing. I can argue the exact same thing about the Cattle/Beef Industry. 80% of Rain Forest deforestation is to raise cattle or grow corn to raise cattle. Next, there is a lot of immigrant/bordering on slave labor in many of the slaughterhouses. Water consumption, and water pollution from factory farms. (I am not saying I am anti-Cattle/Beef industry, just illustrating my point.) So this argument is somewhat moot. Perhaps you won't wear a Cartel watch, but you might still eat a Steak... Both can be seen in equally negative light.
  11. Surgery on what was an old Skiing injury. Fixing a little tendon issue. I am optimistic.
  12. Swiss Six Stitches Gauss Watch Possibly wearing on Right Wrist:
  13. Ditto. Plus, if you want to go Gen Swiss ETA 7750, only the slowbeat A7750 hands are a direct swap. Going A7750 28.8 to ETA 7750 requires broaching the chrono second hand. IIRC.
  14. Welcome. No mass produced replica of the 6538 exists. Closest are some red triangle 6536 or 55xx's. This is where a DIY or Franken project comes in. Enjoy,
