This "semi oldie" is till alive! Been totally swamped with work and renovating our house.. But aiming to be back more frequently in the near future.. Nice to see there's still some familiar faces (and watches) around!
Just got these gut-wrenching news from Nanuq.
Had the privilege to meet Bert in person and despite the fact that he had this fatal form of cancer lurking in the background during the last couple of years he remained positive and was so full of life that you totally forgot about his disease.
R.I.P. my friend - you will be missed.
My deepest condolences to Pim and the rest of his family.
I would go with 005 and/ or 111. Classic manual winds that will work with any 24mm strap you might fancy. Plus they are replicated very well nowadays..
Lovely! If you succeed and consider doing this for others I'd be very interested mate. Have a spare 7734 roulette DW with wrong font in my parts box just waiting for the right moment..
Have a close one installed in my 7032 right now but I do enjoy a nice cigar on special occasions!
+1
Close but no cigar. The 2's have a different curve as well. Gen Valjoux 7734 yes, but not gen Tudor 7032 (it would have been sold in a flash if it was). Nice DW nonetheless - the more 'common' 7734 examples are usually more off in terms of 'Tudor accuracy'.
