  1. No not correct. Since Chinese clones of the Swiss ETA movements are everywhere, then Gen ETA is a real thing .. not bogus at all.
  2. Also, the availability of newer Super Reps of your "franken" can completely kill it's resale value. Ask the people who own 5+ year old PAM Fiddy frankens. Once hot ... now not.
  3. You don't mention the valve in the side of the case. Is it still false (stock), or was it replaced with a genuine or replica valve?
  4. TC commissioned and has seen to fruition a true ETA super clone .. $130 each .. http://blog.tc-sub.com/2013/02/130-tc-2824-eta-2824-2-super-clone-part.html
  5. The person who installed the dial did not pay enough attention to the dw to dial clearance and they are rubbing together.
  6. Ending the day, now, with a sunset over the water.
  7. This is worth posting a second day. Still wearing this one.
  8. Whatever you do, don't place a modern magnet against it, out of curiosity. These watches are safe for use in a magnetic field, NOT for having a modern rare earth magnet which can commonly approach 20,000 gauss pressed against it. 1000 gauss yes. 20000 no.
  9. Maybe I have not had enough coffee yet today, but didn't this story start with two dogs, and end with one dog? That's minus one dog.
  10. Hi ~~ 99% certain that you are using a scam web site. The real perfect clones does not use that web address.
  11. I understand that forum search has been down and since Admin is on a three week vacation, it will remain down for a couple more weeks. Do this-- Google Search "site:rwgforum.net align date wheel movement"
  12. You can go to Otto Frei watch parts in the USA or Cousins watch parts in the UK. There are several threads which list all the parts by number and cross reference numbers.
  13. Omega is not a rough bastard, like Rolex is when it comes to replacement parts. Any reputable watch parts retailer can source Omega service parts. Last year's model Planet Ocean (with the metal bezel inserts) readily accept dials, hands, bracelets, case-backs, crystals .. bezels ... everything .. So if you had a UPO or 42mm version 5 then Bob would in fact be your Uncle.
  14. This is your moment to install a genuine crystal. Unless this is a ceramic PO; I don't know if they take gen parts.
  15. Cape Cod will remove ugly scuffs. Scratches need a polishing wheel on an electric Dremel tool. Plus jeweler's rouge paste.
  16. Cape Cod cloth is the most mild solution and is not for scratches you can feel. It's purpose is polishing not refinishing.
  17. I would recommend against buying the Rolex clone movement. It's not reliable. Buy the normal Swiss movement or the china clone eta movement.
  18. The 2813 and the 4813 are identical except for the balance mechanism. If your watch has a higher or lower cannon pinion, then simply remove it from the old A21j and transfer it to the new one.
  19. The issue with the 1st Gen SFSO is that it came out before the factories were using "better" lume, and it appears a bit greenish in daylight. It's been on my list for a long time.
  20. Domain seizures happen multiple times a year to multiple dealers. It does not mean a thing. It's futile and would be funny if I wasn't paying for it with taxes.
