  1. No straight man would ever bring this into the world.
  2. I'd still go with Hfact too. Nfact ones have some good bits, but Hfacts look the deal in real life.
  3. Got asked for these so thought it might be handy to post them here as well. Size comparison shot
  4. Hahahaha! Me too. If wanted to mail your [censored] a letter. Lol! The only people who my call landline unannounced nowadays are coldcallers - always during dinner. Funny, if a friend wants to talk on the landline they text first heheh.
  5. Heheh, yeah they work really well. Although you do have to choose one with a firm eraser. The good thing is you can make them perfectly to suit if you have a good screwdriver set. I start the hole boring with a small Philips head and then choose the flat driver that matches the post size to finish. Don't forget to clean it out with rodico when done With trial and error I've found it best to keep the hole fairly shallow. The chopstick is a great idea too!
  6. Yeh, one of the things I learned during my ploprof saga was to keep my grubby fingys off the darn dial! The very best way to do it would be to remove the indices.
  7. I used a very high quality and soft eye glass cleaning cloth. Working in strokes out from the centre and between the hour markers. Worked great. Mind you, i had to ruin two dials before I learned how carefully i had to approach the task. Hope you have better luck. They're a [censored] eh?
  8. Hi, the 2671 takes hand sizes 70, 120, 20. I'm not sure about the auto movements but almost almost any eta quartz can replace it. Pretty much they all use those hand sizes. I just bought the latest version F03 for $20 brand new.
  9. My missus has one verysimilar, though not the same. Quartz with a blue, gold dust encrusted dial. We were told by a very respected and knowledgable (but not authorised) dealer that it's called an "orchid" and worth between 3-3.5 grand.
  10. These letters are simply factory codes for where the movement was made. The Jury is out on which country/factory they actually refer to but what is know is that KG is newer than MS. Therefore it probably refers the the shift from singapore factory to Malaysia factory in '09. Don't worry seikos have very high quality control. I have two monsters from Osmobiles. Seller is a true professional. The price is very good for this watch - they retail for 380-450. Although if you're American you might save 15-20 buying locally as the Aussie dollar is high ATM.
  11. Yes it's comfy to wear, but it's not perspective that makes them feel light and flimsy - it's the way they're bulit. i've always been underwhelmed by the old sub. It's all in the bracelet.
  12. Heheh, i was very shocked when i received my first noobmariner. i thought it felt like junk. Only after then did i go check out the gen. *spoiler* ...It feels light and flimsy too.
  13. I use liguid wool cleaner and citric acid when Im out of solution.
  14. WC. Pretty excellent Pam-centric rep/gen forum.
  15. This isn't real art. It resembles [censored] more closely than art.
  16. My prediction for s5 (while trying not to spoil) is walt and jesse become the mr Bigs. Then final s6 to be the downfall and redemption It's already out mate. Ep1 was utter crap.
  17. Watchbitz' ones are very heavy duty and the right dimensions.
  18. I got mine from Watchbitz. They're probably loose because they're not the correct thickness.
  19. ok, thanks. Wow. I am surprised by that as they seem like "follow the rules, send an email with part numbers". But ok. so, i call up up, give them the part number, give them the address and they'll be cool?
  20. Hi all, having a little trouble with ofrei. I need some parts (just a movement, dial, crown, stem and tube). I have all the part numbers and am following the 'rules' he has printed on the site but i can't seem to get a response. I've tried twice now. Once before Christmas, to which i reiceved a blank email response with only my email in there. I replied directly to that - no further response. i have also tried a week ago - no response. Can anyone give any helpful suggestions please or is the problem that they just won't deal with people overseas anymore? Thanks in advance for any insight you may wish to share.
  21. the only thing that looks off to me is the crystal. Seems a little smokey.
  22. I will try the other variations of stems and clutcch etc that I have on hand today The 2824 in queston has actually been fully serviced, so perhaps they were exchanged for ETA equivalents at the time. One thing I know for sure ATM is that the stem in my serviced A2824 stem won't work with the A2836. It goes in ok but but wont 'catch'. I guess I have my my answer though - that they should be exchangable - so I'll give it a go and report back. Thansk for the input guys
