  1. That's rare bird...Definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing!
  2. It's not the fool that asks, but the fool that gives...So what do "we" call ourselves?
  3. Should be receiving mine next week from the "Crippler"...Can't wait!!! Check it out over at TRC!
  4. Check out this goofy duo... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXuESUaESHY Ca-Ca-Ca-Chromeo!
  5. WHOA! When did you get this? I was not aware that the "seconds-at-12" AP ROO were available? Did you buy this from the shop in MBK? More details please...Thanks!
  6. To clarify, The Zigmeister installed a new, non-AR crystal and modified the text on the dial under the "6"? Did he re-lume the watch? If so, let's see a lume shot!
  7. Seems like a "No Brainer"...Let's keep our fingers crossed!
  8. WOW!!! Very impressive...So will you be offering the ALDC service?
  9. The specs... Model: NY Strip - Certified Angus Beef Weight: 16 ounces (pre-cooked) Thickness: 25mm Length: 230mm Condition: Bloody...Yummy!
  10. Ok...Here are a couple of "quick and dirty" shots... I'll take some better ones tomorrow! Good night all...
  11. I'm going to walk across the street to Tourneau tomorrow and see if those schmucks will sell one to me at a reasonable price...Wish me luck!
  12. Yup...that's what I thought as well. Ok...which one of you guys or gals is this? Come on...'fess up!
  13. Like others, I don't wear my leathers into the shower... My girl insists that I remove my watch when we "have the sex"...She doesn't like the scratches on the back and other possible injuries that can occur when a large hunk of metal is on my wrist!
  14. Check out these auctions... I like how "evasive" the seller is with in the description. I've sent the seller an email asking whether these parts came off a genuine Panerai, but the seller has refused to respond...Hmmmm? What do you think? Fake or gen? The Case: http://cgi.ebay.com/Panerai-Luminor-Marina...1QQcmdZViewItem The Crown Guard: http://cgi.ebay.com/Panerai-Luminor-Marina...1QQcmdZViewItem And the Odd Strap with ONLY 1 keeper: http://cgi.ebay.com/Panerai-Authentic-Brow...1QQcmdZViewItem

    5512 love

VERY NICE!!! Hopefully, this is what I will end up with when I'm done. Starting with a MBW 5512/5513 base and an ETA "slow beater"...And the parts hunt continues! Thanks for sharing!
  16. And again...I was wanted to place an order with the "Crippler" before the CNY rush, but haven't been able to since TRC went down on Friday! It saddens me to see the current state of that forum...That's where I "popped my cherry".
  17. Marty, Looks like a good start! Keep us posted...I need to get off my lazy bum and get started on my projects... Is that the original crystal next to all those parts?
  18. I need a "fun" watch so this one goes on my list for '08! Is the rubber strap available for this or just the SS bracelet?
  19. WOW! Great write-up and suggestion for a problem that has plagued many of us here! Will definitely try this... Thanks freddy!!!
  20. VERY NICE! Thanks for sharing...This weekend will be dedicated to CG modding on my PAMs!
  21. The lume glows REALLY well, but the actual lume seems to run outside of the black ring markers on the dial! Kind of like a kindergartner coloring outside of the lines! In my opinion, still needs some work...
  22. Nope...A "Bloody Mary" but with gin not vodka...Try it! You'll be pleasantly surprised!
  23. Definitely a classic...However, don't use sour mix, use fresh juice whenever possible. Sub in fresh lemon juice for the sour and add 1/2 oz. simple syrup. Simple syrup is easy to make...equal parts of sugar and water...that's it! Sub in the fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and Cointreau and you've nailed it!
  24. Very nice! Thanks for sharing this! Ever tried a "Red Snapper"? The cocktail, not the fish...
  25. Wow! That's the first one that I've seen with the printing under the "6"! I like the CG and crown...Let us know what you decide to about the dial...
