  1. Anyone?
  2. Is the post for the running second hand shorter on a Val. 72 movement? I am trying to install the hands on my Daytona project and I can't see the top of the post to install the second hand. The posts for the the chronograph counters sit flush with the dial. I realize the post tube is longer on the second hand, but this one is proving to be a b**ch to install. Thanks. Marty
  3. I am in for at least two flat 3's!

  5. That is a little brazen
  6. The Zigmeister? Anyone ...
  7. What size are the chrono hand posts on a Val. 72? Thanks. Marty
  8. I have one of these. They are nice watches.
  9. Thanks. Marty
  10. I have ordered three watches without any problems. It can depend on where you live. I think it is Houston customs that is a [censored].
  11. Lowes home improvement stores sells a Lift-Off Caulk and FSR (Foam sealant remover). It is supposed to work on foam, but I have read that it can be used to remove Gorilla glue on wood. It may work on metal too.
  12. What stem do I need and where can I find one? Thanks. Marty
  13. What did you use to paint it???
  14. Sorry ... wrong thread.
  15. Not a rep. I took a chance on something ... hopefully I can show you tomorrow
  16. It took over a week for the package to hit US customs ... geez!
  17. This version will take a Val. 22. You need the sterile DW case (no model or serial numbers) for a Val. 72. It is made to fit the Val. 72. I believe the internal dimensions of that case is slightly deeper to accommodate the movement.
  18. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks. Marty
  19. I would be honest about what you have and what needs to be done. It is also helpful to warn about any surprises ... like glued on dials, exploding crystals, stripped crown tubes, the stray pubic hair ... etc. It also helps to say that you won't hold them responsible for any problems. This is especially helpful with clone movements (which a lot of watchmakers won't touch).
  20. I will take a stab at this. The dial will need to be shaved slightly to fit in the MBW case. Can't comment on the price without seeing pics of the dial. The only hands that will fit are Tudor or after market hands.
  21. If you cut the endpieces out of an ROO bracelet, would they work the same as a conversion kit?
  22. ROO today ...
  23. Next to a gen, that is the best insert out there.
  24. I seriously doubt that. Just functioning will be a good thing
