Thank you for posting those pictures again. I don't think a rep daytona will ever satisfy me after seeing those! I wish there was some where I could get them already built. Those are even more spectacular than a gen in my opinion because you had an intimate part in the building of the watches. When you buy the gen some people never even see the movements. Thank you again for sharing.

Wow, what an incredible job! This watch has always been one of my favorites. This is the watch that Ian Fleming describes Bond as wearing in the earlier books. If you ever get tired of this watch let me know. This is and always has been one of the "Grail" watches for me. Enjoy! Q, I may not break it but I will take the beautiful bracelet off of it and put a nato strap on it that is too small for my Goldfinger mission!

I just tried one on at an AD and was really suprised with the bezel click. As I turned the bezel it clicked like a cheap rep. I have many reps that feel more gen like than the bezel on this watch. I asked the AD about it and after trying various other bezels from other brands in the case she too was suprised at this price point.

The crown on my Genuine Sub is also not properly oriented. It is actually just plain luck if the crown is oriented straight up and down when looking at a side view of the watch. My Rolex watchmaker said that it has to do with where the threads for the the crown tube start and then how many rotations there are until it stops. Some of the Rolex watchmakers will work on this if the customer is persistant. To me it's not that much of a big deal. As far as the bezel goes there are plenty of good ones to be had. Just do a search here on the forum and you will find some great discussions and suggestions for replacements. This is the one mod I have done myself. It's pretty easy and if you look for it there is a great tutorial. Just make sure not to glue the bezel in with too much glue or you will find that the bezel will no longer rotate. The 3-6-9 Sub and the two Explorers are incredible. Those three watches have been on my wish list since I was a child...and I am middle aged now! If I could get those three, I would be in heaven. I tried the suggested Omega hand swap on my orange hand Explorer II and my watch maker couldn't make it work for me. I wish some of the modders on the board would make a few of these up for sale. Thank you for sharing your collection.

As a gesture of kindness, I will allow you to send me your Breitling. This will allow you to heal and not be tempted to put it on. I promise to send it back when you need it (if you can find me). I know this will be a burden for me and may even cause me pain...so you can send me a few dollars with the watch to compensate me.

I think it would be critical to have great lume on this one. The bezel has incredible lume on the real thing. I think that is the hardest thing to duplicate.

I've noticed that a lot of people have put EU as opposed to the country that they live in as their location. The EU seems too big for my US mind to comprehend. I miss the thought of the individual country. When I think of the UK, Sweden, France or any other country my mind brings up memories of trips and pictures that are very endearing. When I think of the EU I think more in economic cold terms. Do I need to change my thinking? Please help me as I am from the US and I so want to have a global perspective!

It was bad enough that you got the perfect GMT with the correct stack and everything; but to show it on the wrist of a beautiful woman...please stop...you are killing me! Congrats on that beautiful GMT. I have tried but I can't keep up with you. All I can do is to buy your cast aways and still be very happy. Thank you for sharing.

Do not worry about Kent. He is an incredible craftsman. However, his communication can be poor at times. He is well worth his price, communication issues and the wait. Remember this is Kent's hobby. He has a full time demanding job as well as a beautiful family. Should you have any continuing problems feel free to contact me via PM. I have done over 8 projects with him and know him well. I even had the privilege of meeting him in person.

I've noticed that some of the reps have a dirty haze on the inside of the crystal. Once I clean them off the crystals they reflect light much better, make the dial look better and look more gen.

Can I get one with out the writing on the rehault? My kids already tease me about my "gas" escaping, I can only imagine what they would say about the writing on this one. I love everything else about the watch except the writing and the pearl. The pearl looks like some of the bad ones we see on reps. Looks more like a pimple than a pearl. Incredible job! You just need an 18mm ill fitting NATO strap. I would love to have you build me one!

The Zigmeister- I have gens that don't look this good. It's kind of like watching pro sports...from my couch it looks easy...when I try it I realize how hard it really is. It is not fair that you have been blessed with two gifts! You are the best master watchmaker around and you also have the artisans gift of being able to do incredible lume work. Great Job. I am jealous of every watch and dial I see you work on.
