Perfect. I prefer mine in "just back from service" condition. I have a few gens and I take care of them so they all look like this!
Awesome build...just what I like and what I want!
This is on the true artistry category!
I wish I had the talent to do something like this.
If that watch ever needs a good home that will care for it please let me know.
This is my 168000. Unfortunately a number of years back (before a lot of studying) I went to the AD and had it serviced. They put a new dial in it, as you can see. I asked for my dial and they said to get the new dial I had to turn in the old one. I asked that my old dial be put back and they said it was gone. A hard lesson learned.
They did give me the T bezel insert with pearl. Someday that will end up in a project.
Oh crap, I want one of those so bad! Bakelite bezel?
Tell me more. That dial is unreal good. Swiss rather than -T<25 must mean service dial?
You are the GMT Master!
This confirms it...you are a true artist. Thank you for sharing your work and please don't stop. Hopefully, one day I can own one of your beautiful watches.
Wow! Where is the sign up to be your friend? What a true artist you are.
It's like art only better because you can wear it and look at it all the time.
Seriously, if I can have the honor of you building a watch for me please pm me.
