Welcome aboard to the best rep forum finally! Here is something I am curious about OS, why do the Aussies love the pies so much? They are inedible compared to NZ pies, yet they are so popular here. Had a pie a week ago at the airport in NZ before flying back here to Aus, and it was so good. Just a regular one too, not some fancy gourmet thing, yet best pie I have had in 4 years. (The length of time since I last had a pie in NZ)

But just to play devils advocate, although there was no intention to sell it in the post, just a picture to show off, I wonder given the different username whether the guy that made the post wasn't making it because he thought the pic may have been stolen - and thought he had better make the post because some guy has stolen By-Tors picture? Just putting it out there, but I feel for you having to go through that in the first place. We are all watch people first and foremost, after all.

Yes, was a real shame about the watch not turning up, and all credit to Dave for the refund, something he didn't have to do. You would think this would have been the watch that should fly right through customs, not being a rep. Who knows where it has ended up. Just so disappointing to lose one of these watches. Others can be replaced, but this wasn't one of those.

But he's right there, in a VAN! Gotta be a good deal.

Which part of Sydney? I am Northern Beaches. Welcome to the forum, and good to hear you are looking to step up from that sub to a real watch.

One thing to bear in mind with those $10 stocks is institutional trading - unless the rules have changed institutions can't own stock if the price is below $10 I think it was. So a couple of things can happen with them - the price will keep rebounding when it gets close to $10 because of institutional ownership, or it will go straight through that $10 barrier and keep going fast as the institutions are all getting out of it.

Brilliant analysis and write up, it certainly furthers the cause for how reliable these movements really can be when properly serviced. Makes me think I should get mine serviced...

And given the big date complication that would be the only movement that could go in it probably.
