  1. Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Gates, a circus? Quite rightly so in that scenario. Were they actually trying to advertise something??? Funny thing is of course, Jerry always used apple on the show.
  2. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar - Freud
  3. Welcome back!
  4. The traitor! Not offering it for sale here at home first! Not that I am buying, but I am sure it is something someone on here would love to pick up.
  5. I wonder if maybe there was a typo in the magazine, and it should have read $160, not $16. And remember, although not 7750's, you can get movements for under $10 each, depending on what they are.
  6. My guess would be a lot less Breitling sold than Rolex, hence less coming onto the second hand market in general, and a lot less parts in circulation as a result.
  7. Good work to all that visit!
  8. I think the problem is Canada post, similar problem here waiting on a package also. I think there had been a strike or something, so maybe there is a bit of a backlog they are getting through.
  9. Toad, this must have taken some time to do! Well done, although I may be roaming the wrong circles when trying to influence beautiful women with my knowledge of the slide rules on my Breitlings - as soon as I start to take about it, they turn to the next guy that says he has $20 on him....
  10. WTF? If I were rolex, I would be trying to distance myself from people who are suicidal, and even worse, fail in their attempts! Quite the role model for them.
  11. Isn't that the truth about volatility - had I had the cash to be in the market I would have been able to make twice my yearly income on volatility trading alone in the last 6 months. As it was, I was long good fundamental positions... which will bounce back eventually, but too late to do anything, with all the trades expiring this month
  12. Good to hear things have worked out alright, it wouldn't be the same without you around. As to the shaving, at least you were conscious for it, nothing worse than waking up to find you have been shaved and not know who did it!
  13. Some nice looking cufflinks there Pho, if I had occassion to wear shirts more often I would have picked some of the same ones up already.
  14. From the photobucket pics it was sterile, although I didn't look too close, maybe they had been photoshopped out.
  15. For the fellow Aussies around, although there is no picture, let me just say my ring has arrived on shore, and looks might impressive I must say.
  16. The beer just somehow always tastes better there, doesn't it? Wish there was one on the beach where I was, I would never cook
  17. You too? I think we must be getting old...
  18. Interesting comparison, I was thinking when I got my UPO that it was hardly 'ultimate', nice watch and all but was a bit disappointed to be honest. I think this confirms that it isn't as good as the gen, despite what is said about it. Also, anybody else notice that the crown really needs a crownguard? I ask because mine slips down my arm sometimes and when the crown hits the back of my hand I now have a piece of skin broken where the crown keeps hitting.
  19. Of all the far fetched things that show up in Bond films and this is the one that bugs you??? Anyway, I would think that the account that the money will be deposited into is set by the bank, hence the reason it could not be done right there and then, and the guy that comes out to Bond when the password is entered into the computer is merely having the password entered into the computer to make the transfer - the account is set by then so it cannot be changed. Now that we have that sorted, where do I get me one of those car cloaking devices?
  20. Nice pickup, which AD?
  21. Nothing a good polish wouldn't fix I am sure As I said, it is my daily beater that I wear whilst doing pretty much everything, I have a lawnmowing business so as you can imagine it takes a bit of punishment; but still keeps excellent time and the chronos all reset to zero if used.
  22. Thanks Andreww, that was my thought too, although I am not able to get it screwed back on, hence my thought that it may be stripped. Might have to pop into a watchsmith then to see if they can fix it.
  23. So I was undoing the chrono pusher to clean it a bit the other day, and the whole thing came off. I have all the parts still, but I thought maybe it just needed screwing back in, alas not the case - or if it is, I am doing it wrong... anyway, I don't really use the chrono much so should I just loctite it back in maybe rendering it useless, or is it an easy fix, or are the threads screwed maybe and so can't be fixed? This is my daily beater (as I am sure you can tell by the condition ) so what is best to do? Thanks for any input guys.

    RWG rings

Done and done, thanks Ken, Kruzer and all the admin for getting this together.
  25. No, probably not - not something many people would have a use for, at the moment anyway, but give it a couple of years I guess... it can be very handy if you have say a business number and personal number, or one number for the wife, another for the girlfriend...
