  1. Looks great! Probably exactly what the Chrono Avenger would look like today if it was still in production.
  2. Actually, it really has nothing to do with the movement or the date, as the gen uses a stock 7750. More likely is the fact that the cockpit just isn't popular enough to rep. The trend is toward larger watches, and the cockpit is almost lady sized by todays standards.
  3. Looks great! Only one thing would make it look better
  4. PM me a pic of this buddy! Don't want to wait until tonight
  5. Looks great 6. Wonder why Breitling never produced a strap like this?
  6. From the pics it looks like it is pretty sticky and is going to be a dust magnet. Thats the biggest problem with cheaper rubber straps. Looks really nice though, and is probably a got choice for occasional use. My guess is that it would look like it had been in a sandbox if worn daily.
  7. My guess is those are old pics. You'd likely get the V3, as I think they got rid of the V1s long ago. Maybe somebody could ask?
  8. You are correct, I guess I didn't look close enough at the pics. Plus I thought the V1s were gone long ago.
  9. A7750.com has been discussed many times guys. Perfectly legit, and pretty decent service from what I hear. This is a good deal boys, I got my V3 at dealer cost and it wasn't a lot less than this.
  10. Came across this at A7750.com and thought I'd pass it along. V3 Skylands for $168... http://www.asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?P_id=851&ti=
  11. Great review Lani. I knew there had to be more to the coating than just being plain PVD. From Josh's pictures, it just didn't look black like traditional PVD tends to look. You fabulous pics have confirmed this. I'd be really interested to know how the bezel attaches? It would be fabulous if the screws actually worked like the gen. We can only hope!
  12. The size of the lettering may be a little off, but the hour markers look much better on this version. A little fatter at the thin end like it should be. IMO, the dial on this one looks better than the old one. just my opinion though.
  13. The Skyland replaced the Chrono Avenger, and aside from being made of stainless steel, not titanium, they are pretty similar. The bezel on the skyland seems a little thicker than the CA, and of course the dials are completely different. The Skyland has now been replaced by the Avenger. The Avenger is virtually identical to the Skyland but for its SS hands and numerals (white on the Skyland). The dial colors have changed to include silver, and I believe blue might have been discontinued. Also, a baton dial has now been released.
  14. The Skyland was never produced in Silver. The new Breitling Avenger comes in Silver, but it has not been repped.
  15. Best wishes to everyone! Happy Holidays! A
  16. My photo host went [censored] up, so I have no images to post right now. Just wanted to share that I am wearing a very special watch that only comes out of the box on special occasions. Its my vintage Milgauss, that was a gift from none other than Two-Tone. That in itself makes the watch very dear to me, but the fact that the watch was modded by the legendary Ubi makes it even more special. This watch epitomizes the spirit of giving that is so prevalent here. Merry Christmas everyone!
  17. Not exactly a watch gift, but my sexy new Macbook Pro will encourage me to spend a lot more time at RWG
  18. Looks great, inside and out!
  19. I like the look of the DLCed bracelet, but I would be very worried that the friction between the endlinks and the case would eventually wear away at the coating. There has to be a reason why Breitling never did it.
  20. Have to agree with Yodap. The V1 is pretty inferior.
  21. Besides you Lani? No contest, I'll nominate Toadtorrent!
  22. Never used a PC, EVER! I've always been a strong supporter of Apple, and never really cared when we were a small minority. In fact, I kind of miss those days. Anyway, I thought this was a perfect thread to make my first post from my brand new Macbook Pro. For all you mac lovers out there, don't get frustrated with stubborn PC users. !0 years back, 99 out of a hundred people would have that attitude, but now the times are changing!
