  1. Beautiful 42mm mate! Much nicer than an UPO IMO.
  2. Interesting point. This quote from Josh's site would explain this blunder...
  3. A true classic. Possibly the first super-rep, certainly the first Breitling anyway. I'll never understand why they stopped making these so soon!
  4. Yep, thats the issue with the 2813s and 4813s. They are readily available for cheap, but they are slightly different than the ones used in our reps. I know that Ajoesmith used to sell the tall hand stack version of the 4813, but not sure about the 2813.
  5. LOL, I just remembered that I had a very strong magnet stuck to the side of my filing cabinet. I eagerly began touching it to the bracelet, case and caseback of the watch I happen to be wearing. No magnetic attraction whatsoever!!!!! Then it dawned on me that my chrono avenger is made of titanium. I'm just a f__king idiot sometimes
  6. You know this is a pretty sleazy way of circumventing the rules. You need to be a payed member to sell here. Why not upgrade your membership NOW and show us that you have done the right thing.
  7. All the Navis come from the same place, so all dealers have the same items.
  8. Small white J12 quartz for her, Large black J12 for you.
  9. And btw, still no sign of the one I really wanted to see... the Planet Ocean Liquid Metal
  10. Thats the one! Here's the other...
  11. I was at the Omega AD over the lunch hour and saw two new pieces that I haven't even seen on the web yet. The first was a giant hunk of steel, presumably a dive watch, with a massive crown guard mechanism, mesh bracelet, and orange accents. The other piece looked to be about a 38mm Planet Ocean Chrono. It might be a ladies version, but it was orange/orange and might have been a quartz movement. Anybody have any info on these two?
  12. Looks great! What's your opinion of this one compared to the v2 that you owned?
  13. Come on really? Your link points to a non relavant movement, and no link to the actual watch.
  14. I agree, I like the case, and really love the strap/lug set up. The hand/and dial leave me a little flat though.
  15. Josh posted this watch this morning and I think it looks really nice. I've never heard of Hysek before though. Anybody know the story of this brand?
  16. I don't think there is a source for the 3-6-9 7750 datewheels. I think that its interesting that a 7750 datewheel is not going to be a perfect fit. Basically you need a 7750 dial with the printing offset by 1.45 degrees. Hopefully the rep factories will make a proper datewheel one day, but it seems doubtfull. Apparently the Navi is next in line for the new B01 movement, so I don't think we'll see a new rep before then.
  17. Okay, there is a slight issue. If you take the entire datewheel as 360 degrees, and divide that in to 31 sections, you will find that each day occupies 11.612903 degrees of space. In the illustration below, I've set the first digit in the 3:00 date window, then rotated it by 11.613 degrees several times. As you can see, by the time it gets to the 4:30 date window (45 degrees away), the digit has picked up an extra 1.45 degrees, causing it to sit slightly low in the date window. This goes a long way in explaining why nearly all of these tricompax watches that don't have custom datewheels, have the font sitting too low in the date window.
  18. You are correct R, the gen has a larger date window. This is because the 7753 is farther outboard than the 7750. This means a larger circumference, which when divided in to 31 sections, each is slightly larger. Another issue that my photo will not show is how much of the adjacent numbers you will be able to see due to the amount of space it is recessed. Again, this is uncharted territory, so we'll never know until someone tries.
  19. I agree Toad, but I think the datewheel would better be served on his Chrono Avenger. The Navitimer is never going to be 100% accurate anyway.
  20. It looks much better than the crappy asian font that was used on these. Unfortunately the single digit numbers (like the 6 in the picture) should be rotated 90 degrees, but a perfect solution just doesn't exist. At least with this, it will be accurate for 22 days a month.
  21. I'm pretty sure they all have the same sized window. If you look at the quarter second marks, the height is about 6 ticks, which is about the same as on my Skyland. I assume that the window size is standard on all 7750 reps, and set to the maximum size. Also, when I've seen stock 7750s with the factory dial, I seem to recall the having date windows cut at both 3:00 and 4:30, so I'm pretty sure this will work. If it does, its going to greatly improve the look of your Navi for sure!
  22. Hey bud, here's a rendering of how it should look. I've combined a pic of a Skyland & a Navi taken at the same angle. So it appears that the large font will fit the window, provided the window, at 4:30, actually will align properly with the Skyland datewheel.
  23. I really don't think the 21k movement makes a difference in this model. The only time you would notice the movement is when the chrono is running, but given the fact that the gen chrono hand circles the dial in 30 seconds, anybody who knows about watches will notice this before the stuttering hand. If you are looking for a more accurate bentley, go with the 6.75 big date.
  24. Welcome from Toronto. Lots of great Canadian content here, and always glad to have more!
  25. Really nice pics! I've got three 45mm POs, but I've kind of grown tired of wearing them. Your pics are inspiring me though, so I might try one on when I get home!
