  1. My favorite watch right there! Very sharp looking example b16, I'm sooo jealous. You know, aside from the date window and font, the Navi rep really isn't that bad. The huge 7753 window and horizontal single digit numbers just stand out so much, and is just such a glaring flaw on the rep. BTW, your post has just inspired me to go upstairs and change watches
  2. How much have you worn the watch? Unless you've worn it all day and been at least somewhat active, I wouldn't expect it to be fully charged.
  3. Thats not exactly true Lan. When I first joined the boards many years ago, Neil already had a reputation as a guy you would be taking a risk with. He was my first dealer, and I made sure that I researched him thoroughly. There were plenty of complaints back then of long delivery times, but I never found a person that didn't get their watch. Over the years I've had several long phone chats with Neil and can attest to what others have said here, that he is a true gentleman, and a true friend. I can honestly say that of all the members that have come and gone over the years, his is the presence that I miss the most. Hopefully one day he'll be allowed to come back, but until then I can only wish him health and happiness.
  4. Its hard to say withh that photo as the focus just isn't sharp enough. It certainly looks white, but camera lenses can do some funny things.
  5. Your lucky day OS, cause I'm gonna give you the opportunity to double your money! $40, wadda ya say? Awesome find!
  6. For the UPO you definitely need the rubber AND the bracelet. Both are fabulous and give the watch a toataly different feel. Classy dress watch one day, hot sport watch the next!
  7. I agree with you Lani, the chrono version looks much better than the non chrono version. Certainly one of the less talked about models for sure.
  8. Little heads up for the makers.... THE PEARL GOES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRIANGLE!!!
  9. Stay away from the temptation of using a wrench. You may get it off, but will more than likely end up with a mangled case back.

Rep. On the gen the hour markers are two pieces, these appear to be one piece with a groove. The steel part of the pearl is also more pronounced on the gen. Nice copy though!
  11. Thats been around for a while. Nothing more than a configuration tool for the B01 only. Would have been useful if it did all models and updated with new releases, but its a pretty half ass app as it is.
  12. The V1 bezel screws on just like the gen. I believe you need the gen tension ring as well.
  13. Thats not the way it works. Every single part of that watch would have to be manufactured from scratch. Some parts may look similar to those used on other models, but I can guarantee you that they are not.
  14. Yep, the problem with the tricompax 7750s is that they are simply modified versions of the standard 7750 that have subdials at 6,9 & 12. The 12:00 subdial is transfered to the 3:00 position using a series of gears that actually sit on top of the datewheel. I believe it was Francisco that came up with a method of accomplishing this that involved fabricating a very thin spacer ring that was glued to the datewheel, then applying a second datewheel to that spacer. The result looked fabulous, but the process to do it was far too expensive and time consuming to take it in to mass production. So until we see a new movement, we are stuck with the recessed datewheel problem.
  15. Awesome looking watch. The think I like about the white Navis is that the date window is much sharper than any of the other colors. Great pics and thanks for posting!
  16. Interesting. They've already been removed from Josh's site.
  17. As far as the movement goes, my guess is that it is a 7750 that's had the bridges reworked to make room for the transfer gears behind the datewheel instead of in front of it. Interesting and exciting development, but as a Navitimer fan its a big letdown.
  18. Sliderule doesn't allign. White dial looks terrible. (too heavy printing) Black and Blue dials look better (proper subdial recess with more pronounced pie pan effect) Insert print is still to far from the edge Date font is still wrong Caseback still wrong shape
  19. These guys are just so blatantly obvious that I almost don't feel sorry for anybody that gets scammed by them. Learn the hard way I guess.
  20. I'd go with a gen blue calf or gen blue rubber. Not a huge fan of the Ocean Racer, and black would just look terrible.
  21. Thats some outstanding work right there! Thanks for posting this mate!
  22. Unfortunately a gen bezel is not an option. Breitling bezels use the outer screws to attach, while the reps are press fitted on to the case. Your only options are to fabricate your own pearl, or order a new case.
  23. I agree, V2. The bezel on the V3 is a lot sharper. In the original set of pics you can tell that the pearl is definitely not V3 either. The only thing that had me guessing was that the bezel numbers come awful close to the outer edge, but I'm guessing that has a lot to do with the lack of crispness/lighting/photography. Definitely a V2 nonetheless.
