  1. Guys as some of you know dispite my wrist size (8.5) I seldom wear anything bigger than a 43/44 if that. I agree large watches on the way out and unfortunately for me a 36/38 looks really weird as my forearms and arms are much larger than my wrist.

    (think Popeye) :partytime:

Popeye_The_Sailor_Man.pngI have a collect of vintage maual winds that are really sharp unique watches but they just do not wear well on me. :wounded1: And yes not a Pam left in the house thinking I might take to the 45 Omega PO Olimpic Edition I just bought, anyone have extra links by the way full bracelet much to short! :fool:

  2. Well like most have way to many 40 + I think maybe more and I can not bring myself to sell them at the substantial losses it would entail just as well keep them. Many more gens than reps to be honest from low to high end (well not crazy high) but most are in the box brand new unworn, I know it's nuts but once I get one I am already on to another and thinking about selling (which I rarely do if ever) but brand new in the box take the smallest hit in return so.......................... shelf full of brand new gens in the box. CRAZY!!!

  3. I do not go in water with anything rated under 20 ATMs :snorkel:  (200 meter/660ft ) professional grade divers keep in mind the test is done in a static environment. Yes the pool may be only 9 ft deep but pressure when you dive or swiming or the ocean get hit with wave bam right on the watch side .  I must have at least 10 Gens rated 200 or above so why take chances. My policy is reps do not go in the water period, pool, ocean or shower (nor should any watch should go in there :nono: ) but that is just me. :partytime:

  5. I admit I post more often on other forums than I do here, but I like the vibes around here a whole lot better. If I can compare the forums to places, the others are like the local bar, where I go to ogle and pick a fight or two. This place is my quiet place, my hallowed ground. It's where I have learned to put this materialistic hobby in mortal perspective. When was the last time anyone talked openly about their end of life issues and experiences on other forums? I've read at least 2 instances here in the last 6 months. The show of support have been tremendous. It's that kind of place... Not just about acquiring counterfeits. It's about the humanity.

Ok.... I'm having withdrawal symptoms again...

      Quality vs quantity............ ;)
