I am a little confused. I just purchased a supposed DG3804B, it looks different to the 3804 that I purchased from Cousins a while back. But it looks the same as the supposed 2813 that was in my cartel 1655 GMT Explorer I purchased recently? Anyone know if there are any significant differences in these movements? As I understand, they are both 21,000 with no independant GMT hand setting and virtualy the same size. If anyone can shed some light on my confusion it would be apreciated

Not necessarily, some watches have a ring that secures the movement with the aid of the caseback. I am still looking for these ellusive screws if anyone has any idea's?

Yeah, my 1675 which is yet to be unveiled will be with me as long as it ticks...& tocks. I have bought 2 replacement movements for it

Thanks for the replies guys, but I am confused. I understand the GMT hand revolves once every 24hrs...that's a start I am in the UK so I set my main hands at Greenwich Mean Time. Now just say I want to follow the time in Spain which is +1hr, how do I use the 24hr hand & bezel to achieve this? Or have I got the wrong idea about the function of the GMT hand?

Might also be worth doing a search for "Cartel" you may find the answer to why the watches look exactly the same on some sites

I have found plenty of information regarding using the GMT function on the mk2 GMT's with the independantly set GMT hand but can't find any info on the older mk1. Anyone know how to use it using a DG3803B movement, which I presume mimicks the original 1675? Cheers

I need 2 to fit a DG3804B. I have searched high and low, is there any sort of standard with the sizing of these screws? The ones I have seen on eBay etc are priced at a ridiculous amount for a pair and with no indication of sizing? Just asking because I have just received a Bezel Ring from WSO, the package import slip was marked as 'Gift' value $35. It was sealed in a jiffy inside a sealed small freight box inside a sealed freight envelope. None of the packaging had been opened. There was no invoice in the package. I was charged a total of £22 to have it released. On top of what I actually paid for the ring is outrageous! Any chance of a successful claim back do you think?
