Refinished the TC again. Like the way it turned out.

Hi and welcome to the forum and the hobby. As others have stated overall look and feel is good but a little work makes them better. Look for the threads here for bracelet treatment. A little handy work with a scotch bright pad and some Teflon lube on the bracelet and case make a huge difference on the feel. My BK sub c was spot spot on for weight and feel once this work was done. Crown guards a little off when side by side to gen but not really that noticeable except to experts like here on the forum. Dial very close maybe not as crisp and the Lume not as good but overal for less than 1/10 of the cost a great time piece. Good luck on your first purchase Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

Platinum paint mod is cheap and doable. Takes a little practice, but you can get it to look pretty good and very close to gen. Makes a big difference.

Really sorry to hear about your situation. Thieves really bother me. I bought a safe big enough to fit my winders in it and drilled a hole in the back so I can run the power cords in. It's bolted to the floor and hidden in the house. The problem is it is kind of a hassle to move everything in there, so usually only put them in there when traveling. The whole idea of having nice display winders is to have them on display....We have an alarm and a special underwriters insurance policy for jewelry and a couple other hard to replace items. At the end of the day I might get my money back but those sentimental items are irreplaceable. I collect golf clubs as well as watches and it would be really hard to replace some of them.
