T, she is a stunner. Funny I just received my 5513 yesterday and will post up the build shortly. Your pictures are much better than mine. I think we discussed this before, but we do have similar tastes for vintage Rolex builds. Awesome build man, just a beautiful time piece. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
Everything is moving really slow right now. Similar to Pan153, I sent a package and paid for priority 2 day and it took a week to get there and this was a couple of weeks ago, so it is only going to get worse. Patience....
I was pretty finicky about my hair most of my life. Got it trimmed every Monday. I tried some of the products mentioned with no positive results. In my mid to late 30's started getting pretty good bald spot on the top back of my dome. Baldness runs in the family, so when was about 40, I just gave in to the DNA and I bought a set of clippers and shaved it off. Saves me a ton of dough and it easy to manage. #1 on the dome and #2 on the goatee/stash. Never really wore a beard or stash much until I shaved my head, now I cannot look at myself clean shaven. Trim it once a week and good to go. Much better for driving a convertible.....aero dynamic.
I wonder if he will fall for the Jedi mind trick.
This is not the dial you want to use, it is the dial you want to sell to me.

Nice pics of a very nice time piece. I definitely like the Croc strap better, really makes the piece. That is a cool design on how the strap attaches to the case.
Enjoy
You have built some amazing pieces but this is definitely my favorite. Since you went gen gold and added many key gen movement parts it will last forever. The 16613 was my first gen so will always hold a special place for me. I have a couple other projects going but a 16613 is on the radar for a future build. Only difference would be lug holes and the old style tt bracelet.

Stunning build. I did a spread sheet for a similar build a while back and seeing this finished proves it would be worth the effort and expense. One of my all time favorites. Words really cannot describe how much I like this build. Absolute perfection.

Still wearing the big crown. Love this new strap. I am sending her to a friend tomorrow to upgrade the insert and plexi.
Oh and a nice divot from yesterday's golf match.

Found a new strap maker. Horween NATO style. First strap like this. Very soft and comfortable. I am going to order a couple more with different stitching and leather colors.

Brushed and polished the case. Put on a nice croc strap. I must say these are really well made pieces. With the flatter case back and strap this makes for a great dress watch.

No expert but looking at a bunch of pictures, possibly a later model like 16760/16700/16710 with an unusual GMT hand. Couple of the gen pics have the spread out crown similar to this, but then those models have white gold indices. The 16750 later production models came with the date on it but I would assume since they are later models they would also have the white gold indices. My dial is from 1988 and has the Oyster Perpetual without the date but has the white gold indices....OK never mind I am confused by this.
