  1. Gran bazar. Go around there. I've seen some decent ones in a shop advertising itself as a leather shop (with watches on external displays)
  2. Agree. Anyway I have to say that if I had not bought my first rubbish-rep in the gran bazar I'd have never landed here and start a proper collection
  3. Said from an Italian : PURE bullish_it There are no fakes made here. Really. You go straight to jail for that... We lives on our brands...
  4. Maybe they ended up in the "bad forum backend database evening" th a happened a week ago or so...
  5. Providing you'll find someone able and with the willing to do that, it will still be a highly expensive REP. With such amount you can go for a gen Ap or Hublot or Rolex, full gold. Why don't you just try a rg rep around 350$ and see how you feel with that and THEN decide with some more knowledge?
  6. [censored] from Bulgari managed to close his domain... Ok, let's hope to have fresh news soon. In the meantime you can go through his twin Andrew @ www.ttw888.com. They both have the same products.
  7. Drinking a great Grappa after dinner on the top of Vulture volcan with my Pam164
  8. It's not bad at all. And the font (sorry Maevit) is ok:
  9. Ehi, they are "spying" us!! Look here

    Up for me: http://www.kuvarsit.com/
  11. Just service it and it will live longer. And about your old one, if the problem was just on a broken stem, it would have been an easy fix for a watchmaker (if it was an ETA clone, as the pieces of gen eta fit them). About the pics: the indicator @1 isn't perfectly centered between minutes 4 & 6, as like as the pearl on the bezel is lightly moved on the left, but nothing too bad to discharge the watch.
  12. Sorry mate but on business trip and with the smartphone I can't get the details and give you proper advise. Just be prepared that the claimed "Swiss eta" will be an Asian one. Told this, then go for the most accurate one. Suggestion: ask to the dealer if it is available BEFORE you put the order and pay!!!
  13. Molto molto bello!! Am I right to consider you a connational seeing the publication below the watch?
  14. If I'm not wrong from what I've seen in the qc pics it isn't that light grey on the top gun logo. Let's see when it will arrive
  15. So I'd go for the Asian eta clone (2824 or 2836 only) or GEN Miyota. And since for the Asian eta clones cited the pinions sizes are the same like for Eta (probably Sellita too, but I've to check), in case they will break down badly (something that a service cannot fix) I will then swap the movement for a new fresh eta or Sellita. Unfortunately this can't be applied to 7750 if I got it right, but I'm not 100% sure...
  16. Not that I remember. AP are now offered (for what I know) only as "fake overpriced Swiss eta", Asian eta clones (2824 or 2836 for non chrono; 7750 for chrono ones), gen 28.8kBpH Miyota (good movement indeed), fake 21.6kBpH 21j Asian Toyota clones (the cheapest ones). So far I've seen only Noob factory offering gen Sellitas like for the FF Blancpain or the latest Patel Nautilus.
  17. I don't think there are Sellita based 15300 around. 15300 is a bit old model and the factories are introducing Sellita movements from few months. Sw200 is just one of the movements (it is in practice an eta 2824-2). There are others, like the Sw500 which is the chronograph, another which I don't remember the nr that is the eta 2836-2 (day date one ) etc. Just give a look to Sellita site to get some knowledge.
  18. If I was you, anyway, I'd go for the Asian eta... As many members who works on the reps have said, it is from at least 2 years they don't see a real eta in any rep... This doesn't apply to the ones with Sellita calipers which btw are MUCH more expensive.
  19. Same here: but in my case for the RG version from LORD factory (which is this one -> http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_49&product_id=931 ), so I doubt it is feasible, unless the factory will produce the kit in order to have same gold color tone and perfect fitting... I've already asked Toro if he can do something, but unless the factory smells the business it will be difficult. The best would be to have each factory to produce the endlinks kit for its own version, so that, while you purchase the watch, you can add them as an "optional", sure that they'll fit correctly. My 2 cent. GenTLe
  20. Moreover, actually if you look at my 1st pic (which is a gen one) you'll see that even on that one the bezel to internal numbers aren't perfectly aligned
  21. Ok, but it will take some time: I'm still before qc pic right now, so min 3 weeks to have it on my desk...
  22. Yes, this is the model I ordered too, but from ToroBravo. It is a sin there isn't a proper conversion kit correctly fitting this one. With leather straps it is even more a beauty
