Thanks SR! Good wishes are always appreciated... I should mention that it's the third one, so the level of hysteria here is very, very low... That's what I am doing. Don't trust any of them more than the ones Rob has seen (which are all the reps, actually, except the very new ones!).

Hi guys. Looking for a new watch box. Something really nice, but nothing in particular. So, I am calling on the collective wisdom of the community for the best source and nicest boxes. @Kruzer, Glad you said this! I have been struck by the gens are better than reps thought process for a long time. A really well built franken beats the heck out of some of my gens-- and they certainly get more wrist time! @Corgi, True, true. But I think its all about having the watches you love. So if the value to you of two frankens is more than that of one rep + some $, I say go for it and post pics!

Guys, can we 'put a fork' in this topic? The way I see it (if anyone cares): Dani- that does suck. It's part of the deal-- that risk I mean-- and you knew that, but it doesn't make it any easier...But like Stephane said, please don't bail out... sleep on it first... The Zigmeister- you're right, no reason to pull you into it. I don't think Dani meant to imply anything negative about you and was just looking to commiserate with his friends, but he did put a cloud over you just by associating your name with a big bummer of an incident, and that is unfortunate. I don't think anyone meant anything here, but written communication is tough to navigate flawlessly (I am probably not doing so here!) So, I suggest that we move on to more interesting, fun, and productive topics...

No doubt, absolutely awesome, JoJo! Can you share with the community the story of how this was put together? I for one would love a tutorial of sorts...

It had a manufacturing defect... or several. Easy one, the c-clip on the chrono pusher was missing, so the pusher just fell off. Hard one-- took The Zigmeister a few days to diagnose-- it just wouldnt keep time... lose 10 mins one day, then nothing the next... nutty. Not sure what it was but The Zigmeister fixed it, and now it runs great. That's all.

I wouldn't jump to that at all. Give it time and let folks see the quality on some watches first. I bet it picks up...
