  1. £0.66 is bulk buy, more likely £1.62 for a single purchase, which I should more than I would pay for a watch however rich I was 🤣
  2. You could fall lucky and find a member with spare links, but more likely your best bet is to ask your TD about a new bracelet. Two weeks, you might get it “good will” I’m not sure. Getting the whole bracelet is much more likely than getting the small piece sent. PM me details of when and from whom you purchased it please
  3. Is that a 120 click bezel? Does it even turn at all? Are you having buyers remorse yet? Wish sometimes has watches for FREE, just pay shipping, which varies between €1 and €2 At the opposite end of the spectrum there is the Haldimann H9, it’s a Tourbillon movement, it winds and ticks and does all the Watch stuff, but it has an opaque black crystal, so it doesn’t tell the time. About $100,000 I believe, Emperor’s new clothes don’t come cheap you know
  4. ^^^Now that is the way to do business. Better to stop taking work than to let people down^^^
  5. I think it is pretty clear the OP is looking for reps not grey market watches😉
  6. Buying in Canal street isn’t the best way to source good quality reps at sensible prices
  7. Welcome to our community https://rwg.cc/forum/230-watches-clothing-parts-accessories/ Shout if you need more help
  8. With the Noob being 316, generally not having as good SELs as ARF and the stem height being wrong, my money would be on ARF, but these things are always a matter of opinion
  9. The 2824 and 2836 are related, but not quite the same. The stem height is different and the 2824 is the same height as the new Rolex 3235 movement. I wouldn’t worry too much about complicating things by owning bothe 2824and 2836, these are not difficult movementsto get serviced or repaired and spare parts are available.
  10. Yes and yes😜 They are a Trusted Dealer here Here is a link to the TD list https://rwg.cc/forum/230-watches-clothing-parts-accessories/ Be careful to follow the link I provided above as scam sites have been known to call themselves Puretime and the unwary searching on Google have got scammed. The real Puretime is one of the larger if not the largest dealer
  11. I’m only finding 40mm, is that any good? By silver I assume you mean stainless steel or white gold https://puretime.io/catalogsearch/result/?q=day+date+40 The President is officially called the Day-Date, the Datejust is a different model🙂
  12. Sead often has some stock in the UK. What is your issue with buying direct from China? Any dealer based in the UK would run a high risk of being prosecuted or sued for selling counterfeit goods

    WTF

Damn I’m not Admin, just a lowly Mod. I guess I will have stick with a daily shower and occasional BJ. It has worked pretty well for several decades
  14. Just to add my two Cents. How they are different from Noob, well they are massively overpriced and they are blatantly lying about their product. Pretty much nothing is accurate down to the nanometre, certainly not watches, manufacturing tolerances on genuine Rolex will be bigger than that. They ain’t made in Switzerland, that is a lie, I bet they are just overpriced Chinese fakes, but guarantee they aren’t Swiss. Experts can’t tell them from genuine. The only blind watchmaker I know about, was a book by Richard Dawkins. Only you can decide how much you are comfortable spending on fake watches, or even how much on one watch. However paying $1250 for a watch that I doubt is worth $500 and from a company that blatantly lies on it’s website doesn’t seem a great deal to me. Welcome to our community, as Mike says, stick around and read a few threads and don’t get scammed.
  15. Hello and welcome to our little corner of the hobby
  16. I well remember that front page😀 I don’t think we will ever agree on this subject my friend, but I do think that when the dust finally settles those that voted to leave will find they didn’t really get any of the things they were voting for. Like Boris Johnson’s £350Million for the national health service, they just won’t exist. I think immigration into the UK will continue at much the same level, it is still far from decided what sort of border control the UK will have with Europe and the latest is that Britain might still be obliged to comply with European law while no longer having any say in making the laws. When Germany and all other European Union countries wanted to curb immigration from outside the union, it was Britain alone that vetoed the proposal, something the leave campaign wasn’t exactly transparent about. Unfortunately both sides of the campaign lied to the electorate on an unprecedented scale and have not been brought to account. Enough now, I’m going to go look at watch porn, safe in the knowledge that I have British, European and none European nationality and whatever happens it is very unlikely to affect me.😇
  17. Under the 1872 Licencing Act it is still illegal to be drunk in a public house in the UK. All governments back silly, good and bad laws, that the European Parliament needs reform and overhaul is not the question. The question is why leave one of the biggest free markets it the World in order to negotiate a trading agreement with one of the bigest free markets in the World. Currently the British Government doesn’t seem to have a clue what to do. Five miles North of me, will we have a hard border, a soft border or effectively no border as at present. A hard border risks renewing the problems of the past, no border or a soft border makes a joke of UK independence. Not to mention that I can walk across my mates field, wade ankle deep across a stream that is called a river and walk across the same mates fields in the UK and there is not a damn thing the UK or Irish governments can do about it.
  18. Yeah, but eight! That ain’t natural unless you are a pig or a party😜
  19. The Swiss don’t even have a sea. USA, Seawolf by a county mile Anyway as @kernow said
  20. If you want to wear a dive watch to dive, because you can, I highly recommend you read up on and buy a Scufa. Professional diver and Rolex collector, who decided to start making dive watches for him and his work buddies. Quartz accuracy and relatively cheap, because they are a genuine tool watch. I love mine and never go near water without it.
  21. Now we are talking. I used t be obsessed with motor cars until I took the Mr Toad cure😀
  22. As above, but also remember modern depth ratings are not really relevant. Anything beyond 50 metres and you are into professional diving, with professional diving gear, not some lame ass rep or even a genuine Rolex these days. Nobody uses a dive watch instead of a modern dive computer, nobody times motorsport on a Daytona, and pilots don’t rely on pilot watches. I have a watch rated for 2500 metres, which would only really be useful for working out how long I’ve been dead.
  23. Thanks for taking the time to post such detailed and informative information, it will be a useful resource for other members
