I've said it before, but I would much rather have a well made honest fake than a genuine of dubious provenance that is probably at best assembled from a selection of parts and may well have fake parts that I'm pay genuine prices for. Anyone ever wondered how many times a Phong case changes hands before it is genuine?

I remember that @automatico I came very close to buying one at the time. I believe Invicta vary a lot in quality from model to model. Built by outside contractors? Personally I find many of them a bit gauche, I especially dislike the Invicta name down the left side of the case, but each to their own. The watch game has a lot of snobbery and perception of value that is not actually there.

Your money, your decision, but speaking as someone who has spent nearly $3500 so far on my 5508, I wouldn't be paying that much for a Daytona with an Asian 7750 especially as the case is 15mm thick compared to 12.2mm on the gen. believe me those few millimetres matter on the wrist. The DayDate I like better, but to be honest if it were my money I would probably go to @mymanmatt even though he only builds 36mm Are you absolutely set on gold? Plated stainless will never have the same weight as solid gold Perhaps if you tell us more about the gens and reps you have experience with, we can give you more targeted advice. The most important piece of advice I can give you is to consider all opinions and make your own mind up. If you are happy with your purchase, nothing else matters.

Fantasy is a bit of a loose word when applied to watches. This is an aftermarket dial and insert fitted to a rep watch. I would hazard a guess that most of these parts are fitted to genuine Rolex watches. Now Rolex doesn't approve of this kind of thing, but there are numerous boutiques and a growing number of individuals who fit aftermarket parts to genuine watches. So it is a rep of a watch that isn't available from Rolex, but certainly could and possibly does exist as a customised gen somewhere. Whatever. It's a beautiful watch in my opinion and it would be hard to find a better seller.

I also know that his bishop in fact has been treated by a Jewish doctor. Islam I grant is rather more black and white than many religions in scripture, but when and where men decide to "overlook" certain scripture in favour of living as more enlightened members of the modern world community we should do what we can to welcome and encourage it. Such is the only pragmatic course of action.

Wokky is wok shaped or concave, so the top and bottom positions of the rehaut wouldn't necessarily be affected. I don't believe that the JF is any where near as 1:1 as is claimed, just because it takes gen parts, doesn't necessarily mean it is gen construction in the details.
