Thanks for the post BK. I'm just wondering why on WM9v3 a gen bezel ring wouldn't fit without shaving the retaining ring, while on this one seems to fit without any mods. Did they fix it down the road as well? -

14060 with solid end links does one exist from the factory
w.genzo replied to FxrAndy's topic in The Rolex Area
No No No 14060 and 16610 and 16600 case and bezel are different. And unlike the Submariners (16610, 16800, etc.) the 16600 does NOT have a crystal retaining ring. ...............................Rolex Sub Insert Sizes........................ ...........Old Sub .................................................. .........New Sub 5513, 5512, 1665, 1680 ......................................16808,16800, 16618, 16610 Outside Diameter: 36.55mm ...................................Outside Diameter: 37.65mm Inside Diameter: 30.3mm .......................................Inside Diameter: 30.7mm New Style Sub no date ............................................... I don't think there is a cartel here as well.. -
I would also go for a no lug holes one. Even if that would be my favourite sub i would ask for the simplest rep they can do, everything we add (engraving, lugholes) is a potential mistake for the builder. Than a lot of member here could add lugholes if asked.

+1, same for me.. and 2678 works great. Why don't we organize a group buy for the non engraved version (Z serial) in order to reach factory's minimum order requirement? Just my 2 cents

Hi, Yes the visible parts are gen (correct endlinks, dial, datewheel, bezel etc..) I had an offer last week for 2600€ which was quite a fair price. You can see the watch here. Let's say 16800 gloss dial value could be 2600-2800€ Matte dial 3100-3300€ Then I bought a gen 16610 P serial instead

Should be cubicworks dw, the pic shows open '6 and '9 but they actually sell closed '6 and '9 dw. http://www.cubic-wor...ages/WTG002.jpg You should look for a gen or aftermarket 3055 dw, which has the correct ETA sequence. I bought one from ofrei a couple of years ago and that was good, now they list the yellow one, maybe ask them if they still have a white one. http://www.ofrei.com/page818.html

Yes especially the new 179XX datejust has the bezel too thick compared with a gen, and then my gf woudn't like to be outted even if she likes my reps. That's why I would prefer to use a gan case&bezel. Tudor princess is not an option for me because I'm quite sure a gen dial wouldn't fit.

Hi all, I'm still thinking about a franken dj for my girlfriend, now her birthday is coming and I'd need your help. Unfortunately her wrist is very small and a mid size is not an option, so I have to go for a 26mm dj. My two options are: Gen case; I've a gen 69170 case and I would like to know if any eta mov would fit and aligne properly. I checked eta 2671 features and dimensions and it might work, but I'm not sure and I would like to hear your opinion.. Rep case with a gen dial and gen bezel, but again, I'm not sure if the gen dial and the bezel would fit. I did not consider a tudor princess with a custom dial because I would like to use a gen dial.. If you have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated

Congrats, the dw lignes up perfectly and in my experience is always a fight

About the AR.. the very end of V's serial and the randoms serials come with the ar coating on the cyclops both 16610 and 16610LV. But I saw some earlier V serial with no AR -
Gen as well, I prefer the GMT with lugholes but it's also this one looks beautiful
-
That's worth 2 threads! Awesome

And in this way you would also avoid the issue that the lugs are not straight in the rep case, i.e 20,05 at the beginning and 20,13 at the end. We could sand the case first to have all at 20,13 and then the links if needed.
-
Super, that's the best solution Imho
-
The main poblem is that lugs are not straight, so it could be 20.05 or 20.13, but always wider than 20mm. I was thinking to ask my wm how much he charges for laser welding, usually he is quite cheap and it shouldn't be too hard to add a slice of material between the lugs. Anyway it's again extra bucks.. Check this, it's very impressive: http://www.rolexforu...ad.php?t=208240 Sorry for the OT:)
