Cats
Beautiful watch and great photo's Stilty. The green hue , on my rep dial and hands , during daylight made me decide to swap to the vintage lume again. Wear it well. Carpe Diem Cats

freddy333
Outstanding watch. With the base cost of a gen movement & dial, I have to wonder, though, if you could have purchased a gen 1680 for not much more than you spent to build this franken? Of course, there is always the challenge/enjoyment of building it yourself, but I always question the value of building a franken that costs almost as much as the gen. But that is a personal decision & the watch is a stunner. Well done.

coolfire
Thanks for your kind comments everyone. Expensive yes, but I doubt anyone could find a gen for the price, unless it was totally beat and in non working order. 1570: $650 service: $150 date disc: $250 case set: $420 dial and hand set: $500 insert: $100 crystal: $60 nos tube: $40 crown: $60 93150: $350 labour and part sourcing: priceless! LOL Total: $2600 But the price will go up as I need a replacement buckle... I see now why I got the bracelet so cheap. Wonderful work done there, dude... I concur with the 'labour and part sourcing: priceless' part!
freddy333
Expensive yes, but I doubt anyone could find a gen for the price, unless it was totally beat and in non working order. 1570: $650 service: $150 93150: $350 I am amazed that you found these items so cheaply. Even in poor condition, they tend to cost nearly twice as much.

sconehead
Gorgeous...Is the Yuki case 1:1 as they claim it to be and do you rate their 'refinished dials'? Guess you got the 1570 off the bay in a datejust or similar...
