There's no doubt it looks good... The thing that seems questionable.. is: Are they using a blacklight in the photo???????? :whistling: :whistling:

Im going to sit this one out and wait for the Swiss ETA version. I will also keep my fingers crossed on the "bezel lock system" being functional. This Is not a bad looking rep for the money. But I just dont feel comfortable wearing a watch that dosent operate as advertised. Cant wait for a review :g: Mike

As a dive watch the gen is very good. I would not wear it out of the water though.

:bangin::bangin:

Then it wont get much wrist time....I think it will be very nice while doing som carpenting, repairing the car, sky jumping, carrying rocks, hicking in the Alaskan wilderness or anything else Nanug would normally do ...except maybe going to church/temple unles your are a gravedigger....in short this is not a tool watch it is the Nanug Watch :drinks:

:drinks: Gunnar you NAILED it.

I'll tell you what, this baby has me drooling. It may very well be the only rep I'll buy this decade. AS LONG AS I can find a thick mesh for it! Are good mesh bracelets available, and what's the lug spacing on this beauty?

Must ... have ... a ... skanky ... PloProf !!! :Jumpy:

It looks best on black rubber, imho. Not mesh, not bright orange fluorescent rubber.

Also someone stating you need a loupe to see the happy feet? What? I can see it on all of my watches from 3' away. The casual observer won't notice it.

All right guys, this thread is begging for a link to an appropriately gnarly mesh bracelet for Da Beast.

Anyone?

C'mon Pugs, I know you do big watches ... where does a mere mortal get a nice thick mesh?

If you don't like the Omega mesh bracelets, lonestar makes some of the best mesh bracelets for the money IMHO. I've had great experience with them.

The rumor is better version is coming from a different factory but it will be significantly more money. It sounds like we will hopefully have the best of both worlds - decent rep for decent price or better one for more money. But I also heard the more expensive version is one of those "coming out in the next couple of months" so who knows what the timing is.

Looks like a repeat of the "BlackSteel's" V1, V2, V3(Really V2 of V1 Factory)
