Watchmeister Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Nice! Which dealer did it come from? The one who listed it. Josh- Very nice piece.
Ztech Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 The one who listed it. Josh- Very nice piece. Wow how did I miss that??? Thanks for filling me in.
PaulVanDyk Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 maaaaaaaan, how hard is it to get the correct thickness of OP engraving?!?!? otherwise well done
TK471 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Well, I'm quite sure there's no way the finishing on the movement can match that of gen, but it's a great replication. And for the price.... insane....
mactower Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Looks like I'll be placing an order for this one! Thanks for the photo review! M.
senator Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 not good to me, many flaws on this one..., as wolf on geek said..... LH is the best for the moment in my eyes.....
trombone Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 and the nitpicking starts again and again.... come on guys, you can´t compare a LH watch with a USD 218,- watch. just my two cents!
parryl Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 and the nitpicking starts again and again.... come on guys, you can´t compare a LH watch with a USD 218,- watch. just my two cents! +1
txcollector Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 not good to me, many flaws on this one..., as wolf on geek said..... LH is the best for the moment in my eyes..... I wasn't aware LH had a 177. When did he start?

mastrmindalliance Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 This rep is making me question... why all the nitpicking? Looks pretty good to me. Did people forget these are reps? It seems we live in a golden age with the quality lately. Well done Jos and others involved.
StormTooper4 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 This rep is making me question... why all the nitpicking? Looks pretty good to me. Did people forget these are reps? It seems we live in a golden age with the quality lately. Well done Jos and others involved. Couldn't agree more , the ungrateful nature of some makes me wonder why the rep makers bother, its a 200buck rep and what other choices are there, its not perfect but for most people it will be a welcome addition to their collection and represents bloody great value , I would happily wear one and No One would ever call it out. Stop sucking the fun out of the hobby guys , its a cheap Ti we should be Hi5'ing & not raining on the parade, and its christmas Come on Enjoy it whilst we can
gianton Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Looks great to my eyes considering the price! Hope a base with closed caseback is out soon!
Rolexman Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Great watch! Definetely on my wishlist!... too many new reps too little funds ;(
ebzen02 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 The only no no is the movement.. but the rest of the watch is great in my opinion. If the movement bothers some too much, you can swap it for a gen movement or a LH. For $218 this is a breath of fresh air and one cannot help be excited about the rest to come. I am going to wait for a model with a closed case back like a 005 or maybe 001.
arminvanbuuren Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 hey guys.. nitpicking is a good thing in some way for noobs like me who doesnt know how to nitpick a panerai.. it kind of educates us.. so other than the movement what other flaws are there on this watch?
hooky Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Looking great. Probably also won't be expensive. The 288 has a A7750 which is more costly than a 6497-2. So I don't expect more to pay than 225usd. But at this rate they are making superlumed pams.. I'll be waiting for what more nice models are being launched the coming months.
www_watch Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I like the fit of the lug screws. That's a really nice improvement.
cib0rgman Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I wasn't aware LH had a 177. When did he start? Who is LH and does he has a website?
