Lobster
I know there must have been several threads like this before, but I love seeing watch pics If you had all the money in the world etc etc... what watches would you get? I am a sporty watch guy but there are two dressy watches that I would love to own. The Pano Inverse from Glashutte is absolutely special. I tried the gen on in an AD in Frankfurt and just felt so sad that I couldn't take it home But the ultimate watch I would want to own is the L&S Zeitwork

freddy333
My ultimate grail & the only watch that has (so far) eluded my franken-built clutches is the Lange 1, in precisely the form that tomhorn posted above. 2nd after the Lange are the ultimate Rolex collectibles - the SS 6062 Moonphase (preferably with dauphine hands & star indexes) or 4113 Chronographe Rattrapante (Split Seconds Chronograph)

jeff g
Grail watches are truly in the eye of the beholder. Many of those folks coveting that perfect watch are Rolli folks, then many of the people are Panerai guys. True grail pieces are many of the many great swiss classics. For me there are really only a few. AP RO , and the PP Nautilus come to mind. But of course that is just me. Grail? What ever floats your boat I guess. freddy333
Is this based on aN ETA 7751 movt? 9 3/4" 'bubbleback' movement. Rolex does not use ETA movements in their Rolex branded watches.
