t4unt Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 I'm looking for a simple white-faced, roman numerals with mineral crystal watch. Would prefer price to be <$50 preferably. I don't care much about anything else about the watch as long as it looks relatively presentable and tells time. Will post pictures of watches I like, but with a lower price essentially. I really love the look of daniel wellington watches, but I can't find cheap reps of them at all. In the end, I'm looking for a simple clean, white faced watch that looks similar to Daniel Wellington/MVMT watches. Rep or not. Price is key. Thanks
Ezio Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 Ummm the gen is cheap. As civic says its cheap as hell just go buy a gen mate dont even Think if They made a rep it Would be Much cheaper haha
508-Fanatic Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 The most expensive watch DW sells is $230...or am I missing something? I think you've come to the wrong place my friend...we aren't here to rep cheap watches. Members here routinely pay several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars in replicating fine timepieces. I can understand budget constraints though... if you're looking at that style sub-$50 price-point perhaps a Timex?http://www.walmart.com/ip/Timex-Mens-Oversized-Indiglo-Easy-Reader-Mens-White-Face-Dial-Watch/10727893 Good luck to ya
Rolexman Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 This is probably not the right place for you buddy For us $300 reps are cheap now a days.
Ezio Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 This is probably not the right place for you buddy For us $300 reps are cheap now a days. Sadly its true
GenTLe Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 For us $300 reps are cheap now a days. Don't write it... Don't just give sellers another excuse to rise again the prices
theflyingdutchman Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 The average strap nearly costs more!
martijnp Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 Just get a gen. These go for $180,-. A rep factory will never replicate a "cheap" watch like this
508-Fanatic Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 Considering most of us spend the average or 3-4x more per component that one of those DW watches costs, again, I don't think this is the place you'll find your watch Johnny. That said, don't give up on your quest, keep your eyes open at local jewelers used sections and perhaps if you're willing to save, save up $200 - $300 and get a halfway decent rep of a great watch. For example, this isn't 1:1 accurate, but it's damn close and was only $300

Nice watch. $ 5.99 with shipping ? That is obscenely cheap. Get a dozen and give them as presents at the xmas office party.
Mike on a bike Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 I have two of this brand (KS) in autos still running for years.
xpletiv Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) And you paid that same $5.99?! Sorry, jumped the gun. That other cheapie is that price. Now to find the ks price. Edited November 27, 2014 by xpletiv
Mike on a bike Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 No those are quartz auto under 50 here's a few: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l2632.R2.TR6.TRC1.A0.H1.XK%26S+wa&_nkw=ks+watch&_sacat=14324

Mike on a bike Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 Nice for 28.99, http://www.ebay.com/itm/KS-Fashion-Classic-Silver-White-Day-Date-Automatic-Mechanical-Mens-Watch-/141422978654?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item20ed77665e
champagneinhand Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 The average strap nearly costs more! For real. Maybe an old off the street Cartier with a bad Quartz movement or used 21J, but not likely to find a functioning one. Strap sale at Panatime got me under the $50 mark but it's a very low price these days. Less than a good bottle of wine from the store.
champagneinhand Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Some of those analog reps on eBays are Quartz movements. I think the meaning of analog was lost in translation.
HaydenM Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 If you're wanting a watch look at seiko 5s, they're decent watches (I actually have one on my wrist as I type this). As for reps of DW, never going to happen.
automatico Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 You might find a new or used stainless Kenneth Cole made to the specs you want. KC watches are good quality for the $$.
Resistor Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Just get a gen. These go for $180,-. A rep factory will never replicate a "cheap" watch like this Then how do explain the replica Seikos and G-Shocks?
Mike on a bike Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Resister don't they sell those as gen ?
