  1. The dial is from a rep long since gone and it was sold by someone called easyeasy hence it was known as an EE6263. The watch is a DW caseset and has now got gen tube/crown, Ofrei pushers, modified movement (more than just taking the rotor off) to make it manual wind, low profile caseback, gen T21, gen bracelet, watchNY bezel and DW handset. There's not much more you can do to one of these other than going V72.

  2. Here is a photo of what the subdial spacing would be like on a 7750 powered 6263. Notice that the subdials are slightly closer to the index markers than on the gen. For me, that is a small price to pay for what is, overall a very good and reasonably priced rep. And yes, all the subdials work as they should.

  3. RWG is full of Daytona build threads. Use the search. You need to decide how serious of a build you want (ie., how much you can afford to spend & how much hair you are willing to pull out during the process). This is a sample of some recent builds (all V72-powered diy frankens - use the search to locate build threads containing details)

  9. The originals came with domed xtals. However, the watch went in for service in the past 20 or so years, it came out with a beveled service xtal. Point being that either is correct & which you use depends on your preference & bank account.

  13. Indeed. Nice little island ;-) Not at all. Of course you can spend a lot if you go to expensive restaurants and drink quality wines. But, you can also find a 2 bedroom penthouse for rent at 500€/ Month with a sea view or buying one at 150.000€. Not even mentioning cooking at home with local vegetables, fruits, meat ...My meal yesterday was around 3€ ;-)

  14. There's nothing I love more then when guys here take something fairly cheap and crappy and transform it. This is right up there in the hall of fame of such transformations. Fantastic work!

  15. I think it's rep. Gen IWC dials don't have such thick/embossed and rounded indices, they have complete flat indices. And the colour of the lumed indices doesn't differ from the colour of the other indices. Possibly it' gen but then (I think) it's relumed. Also the indices in the subdial shot are too grainy in my opinion.
