I have one of those that was given to me by a friend who's father was a watchmaker. Can't wait to see the pictorial.
Do a pictorial about making Eta hands fit a Molnia movement........Please!
What are you going to tell them, that you bought an illegal watch? Replica watches and PP disputes aren't a good thing, in my opinion.
Sometimes it's better just to write it off and move on. But in the end, It's up to you.
David Wong is the guy to go to. Either him or SpinMaster. The other choice is Phong @ Jewelry and Watch but his are a lot more expensive.
DW will built it for you.
The early Rolex bracelets were a true masterful piece of engineering. They are the lightest, most comfortable tool watch bracelets made, yet they are strong enough to last decades.
See, it all depends on how you look at things.
All right, the only thing I see is a slight difference in the length of the second hand from your first picture.
On the first picture the CGs look a little smaller. Seems still within Rolex's rather wide tolerances though. Also the crown looks a little larger, another item than can often be changed at the RSC when being serviced.
I think the cyclops is OK. Just the picture makes it look funny.
So when you gonna tell us?
I sent my Ebel off for the same problem and the watchmaker said it was a dirty, sticky reversing gear (or something like that). He fixed it for free and sent it back. Said it's a common problem with the A7750. Obviously it didn't take much time to fix.
I'm glad you posted this Freddy. I was always under the impression that once the winding gears were removed it was exactly the same as a 7760 movement, which was built to be manual wind. Isn't that correct?
