  3. Hi all, I built a franken SSD before using a gen dial etc but now i want to build a vintage Tritum version. I have collected most of the parts but need some advice... 1. has anyone ever removed the Gas Escape Valve from an SSD...? 2. Does an aftermarket (Clarks) SD crystal fit an SSD...? 3. Omega if you read this need some caseholes drilled, tried PMing you but doesn't work.... Parts are in transit but i'll post some pics when i have them all together. Cheers P.
  4. That's a thing of beauty, love the dial thats a great find... and of course those endlinks.. Any chance of a movement shot? P.
  5. Hiya all, well at last i can share my 6265 Daytona with you. I originally brought this as a kit in 2008 off of a member here who turned out to be a little scammer so i should be glad i received it, he later ripped me off for a Tudor case but that's another story... Turned out it needed alot of work which was beyond my capabilities so it spent the best part of a year with Micheal at Classicwatchparts in Hong Kong who did an awesome job putting it together and finding missing parts of the V72 for an amazingly cheap price. Specs are: - Phong case and back unengraved. (will have engraved sometime) - Phong bezel - Gen Jaeger-LeCoultre V72 fully serviced with 5 line Rolex bridge - Gen T21 crystal - Gen 78350 bracelet with 557 (not correct) endlinks - Gen 702 Crown and tube - Gen pushers - Phong dial and handset Pics... (Ubi style, thanks mate...) Thanks for looking! P.

  10. Thanks guys! By-Tor, here's a couple more wrist shots on the Pro2, i used flash so you can see the real colour of the dial. Yeah its pretty close if not spot on. I brought the mesh to put on the yellow dial version but no stock left when i ordered Cheers P.
  11. Thanks guys, below is a pic of the gen.... OSrep, its tough to get the dial colour right in the photo, its a greyish blue pretty close to the gen. Mike, Unfortunatly the factory has stopped making the yellow dial for now which seems crazy because demand seems high but both Andrew and Connie at Kingwatch told me they will have again in a few months but who knows... cheers P.
  12. Looking good lani but i really think you need to swap that yellow dial for my blue dial version... it will match yr tatts so much better P.
  13. Hiya all, following in Lani's footsteps here's my Avenger Seawolf on an aftermarket mesh bracelet... What i really want is a yellow dial version so if anybody out there wants to trade this blue version for a Yellow version please pm me. cheers for looking P.
  14. Pity the poor bugger who buys the Skyland with the wrong datefont
  15. I brought a Serie Speciale off of Andrew a few months ago and got this version.... Slide rule lines up and case and bezel more accurate but datewheel a little more sunken. Overall a good replica... Let us know what version you get from Josh... Cheers P.
  16. Thanks Maxman, good to know... lets hope they haven't changed too much except improvements of course... P.
  17. Love the yellow, i ordered one but no stock so got the blue which is pretty nice too. Anyone else have problems getting a yellow version... P.

  20. Don't bother with wholesaleoutlet, if you ever recieve anything off this scammer it will be crap anyway... Very hard to find these inserts with the correct colour and outside of Rolex gens are very rare indeed... i got mine off of classicwatchparts and the colour is still not perfect but matches the dial from him so okay for me Hope Kurt can help you out he is the man.... Cheers P.
  21. Awesome piece Freddy, i hate to think what that bracelet cost you coz knowing Andy, it was alot... Tell me, why use a modified A7750 and not a v72? P.
  22. Yup definately not a gen bracelet, would also have a Breitling stamp on the clasp if it was.. A good excuse to fit a nice leather strap... Beautiful watch you are indeed lucky, wear it well P.
  23. Yeah a good idea Andy but finding hands to fit the seagull could be a problem, and i'd have to change the back, ouch!
  24. Thanks Toad.. actually i fixed the subdial but forgot to mention it, using your tutorial as a matter of fact, cheers P.
