Partially. If a case is made to fit a gen movement, then the crown should be aligned properly. My gen-powered Double Red has an MBW mid-case & the crown (also gen) looks centered to me

Like they said (delete browser cookies/cache). Also, be sure you are logged into the system. Since the upgrade, I have found myself, twice, logged-out without having ever actually logged out. I am not sure why that happened, but you should check your status as well.

Rolex pricing has been driving buyers crazy for 25 years. All I can say is, if you can't stand the heat......... And you cannot really compare the likes of Omega & Zenith with Rolex. Different animals. Paying Rolex prices is all part of the fun (in the Rolex world, the term 'fun' should be interpreted in the same vein as a 'blue screen' is interpreted as a feature of Windows) of Rolex ownership. After all, if everyone could afford Rolex prices, then it would not be an exclusive brand. But, on the other hand, like I always say, today's outrageous Rolex prices will be tomorrow's Rolex bargains.

Ofrei's pushers are the same parts that Rolex fits nowadays (just cheaper). Whether they will fit a given DW case is impossible to say, because the cases tend to vary a bit. The gen/Ofrei pushers fit some DW cases, but not others. The only way to know is to try. Unfortunately, in my experience, when they do not fit it is because the holes in the case are slightly too large. In these cases, the only (realistic) option (you could weld in new metal & then tap a new screw hole, but I think that is more work than the case is worth) is to reinstall the DW pushers or cement the Ofreis in. Rolex used 3 different styles of screw pushers on 62xx Daytonas, but I have only seen the last version (which is what Ofrei/Rolex currently have) available for sale anywhere. I posted a thread a few years ago that showed the different pusher styles, but it may have gotten lost during 1 of the previous board upgrades.

With insanely great timing/luck, more drive than a starving bulldog & an artist's eye for re-branding (or theft, depending on whether you are reading this on an Apple product or not), Jobs was able to squeeze unimaginable profits out of Apple's rocky success. Rep DJ cases are very close to the gens. So, if buying a gen is out of the question, I would just buy a rep & swap the crown/tube for gen parts to increase longevity.

You just have to keep working your way around the circumference. Use firm, but not excessive force &, eventually, it will slide off. If you are worried about damaging something, take it to a watchmaker & let him remove it for you. He ought to be able to do it while you wait (it only takes a few minutes).

The bezels are different (SDs are taller/thicker), but the inserts for the 5512/5513/5514/1680 & 1665 are interchangeable.
