  1. Ending the work week wearing 1 of my DJs
  2. As long as it accepts the correct (2mm) springbars.
  3. Ditto. I have a 9315 on mine
  4. I am not bidding either, but I can easily see this thing reaching the 2+ grand level.
  5. I have not picked up an instrument (in anger) in years, but back in the day http://triumphpc.com/work/prix/prix_hellooperator.mp3 http://triumphpc.com/work/prix/prix_longsally.mp3
  6. Wearing my OPD today
  7. Congrads, Andy. Looking forward to the next 10k.
  8. I have no idea whether that will work. My point is that since the graphite works & is cheap, readily available & easy to implement (during a standard overhaul, which all rep movements should have), why opt for a more expensive unknown?
  9. As of today, the original test watch is still running.
  10. Before throwing alot of money into a Rube Goldberg project, you should read this. None of the watches I treated have failed (note - you would need to locate a watchmaker to treat your watch as I am not providing this service).
  11. Ubi - You really do need to do a good collection pic.
  12. Make sure - you have the correct battery the battery is good the battery is installed correctly
  13. The shape of the hour & seconds hands. Is your seconds hand pointed/flat-edged & does the inner lume section your hour hand terminate along the arc of the center hole or does it begin a bit beyond it Again, it may just be the way I am seeing things in your pics, but I thought it best to ask.
  14. Please do not re-quote entire pic threads just to add a few words/comments.
  15. Can you post a macro of the hour hand?
  16. If aftermarket, it is the best 1 I have seen.
  17. I may be seeing something that is not there, but are you sure the hands are gen? Either way, a stunner of a watch, Ubi.
  18. Although he has been around quite awhile & has an excellent seller rating, whenever I see 'new', 'unused' or 'NOS' gen Rolex parts being sold unpackaged & generally below market pricing, I smell salmon. Perhaps unwittingly, but I fear this seller may be selling Asian-made aftermarket parts as gens. Buyer beware.
  19. 9 3/4" 'bubbleback' movement. Rolex does not use ETA movements in their Rolex branded watches.
  20. Aside from the bracelet, my only qualm is the shape of the CGs, which look a bit too triangular. Otherwise, VERY well done.
