  1. Nice watch & welcome to the DW V72 club!
  2. Excellent post! Long live cleverness--especially in this stale digital age. Cheers
  3. Any of the above links will be fine. The funny thing is, the 214 & the 218 are very very easy to fix! Cheers PS. Keep on humming! I've got an astronaut and a spaceview still humming away.
  4. Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a shot Best regards, Euno
  5. Can you recommend a source for Skyland leather straps? Cheers
  6. This watch deserves a swiss treatment. The watch is a great watch. This model really has been a very pleasant surprise for me. I very much like it and plan on keeping it. Go for it! Cheers
  7. I am VERY pleased with mine. I've had it for a few months now. It is an excellent piece. Cheers
  8. Great pic! Makes me miss my father
  9. Here's some info that I posted regarding the MK XV: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...33545&hl=XV
  10. This watch is gorgeous in person. I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one...
  11. Oh Sh*t! That PVD above is gorgeous, I gotta have one!
  12. It would be great if the new Daytona was a tad bit larger. On a side note, does anybody still make and/or offer the 16520 seconds @9 rep?
  13. I fear that Lani is just as crazy as that dude who goes by the name of Euno

    IWC 3717

Real nice 3717's gentlemen! Well since there's a sudden resurgence in the ultra modified 3717, I thought that I'd reel out one of the first to have been fully modified a couple of years ago This watch started off as an E.L. special. It from the very first 3717 batch! I also figured I'd have HKTan make a custom strap for the 3717, so here's the first one that he made (took him several attempts to finally get the overall aesthetic/size worked out right). Zig slapped in a Swiss 7750 (thanks to a fine member here who sold it to me) along with ETA wheels. He also performed a Superlume upgrade. Anyhow, a historical watch for sure. Cheers
  15. There are some 'boutique' brands such as Temption... And Chopard did with the Mille Miglia pvd black & red watch (too bad the black case is shiny). Tag has some also with red accented straps. Temtion was one of the first. This watch was tha sh*t a few years ago when it came out. Case is PVD, too.
  16. A true gem for sure--I love those Squale divers. BTW, hi Nanuq!
  17. I think it's odd that they didn't make a strap with at least red stitching on black as an OEM option. The red really makes the red on the watch "pop".
  18. I've got the same strap and it's very well made. It might be a bit too much red for my tastes though for a daily wearer. I slapped on the rubber again and I'm loving this watch all over again!
  19. Very nice pics & great combo. I've got the HKTan red/black strap. It's nice but I think that the red sides are a bit much for my tastes. Cheers
