  1. Whoa, so this your like 10th strap for that big crown now??! Go easy on those springbars
  2. Love that sm300, didn't know you had one!
  3. Easiest - start from the cartel 6542 with 2846 movement (incl roulette dwo). You might have some issues fitting gen/aftermarket upgrade parts, but for me all worked ok. 1655 base is the other most common option, but quite some work is needed on the case - not just crownguard removal.
  4. Beautiful watches, love them all. Must be so rewarding to have them gathered and knowing that you made them happen by making the dials yourself - at the same time as you helped others. Also, 3 fatty cg's in one little box - only that's pretty impressive!
  5. Pardon me asking, but wtf is this?? Very unique piece!
  6. Any watch maker can do that. You might however find that some loathe reps (often without knowing much about their current quality). Ask kindly, and if you get no - go to next place. If you're lucky you might befriend yourself with a local and skilled watchmaker - priceless in this hobby! Otherwise, just send it to Vac. Think his lead times are ok nowadays.
  7. From their webpage: "Classic Watch Repair is the latest venture of www.classicwatchparts.com " So CWP has been around since the old days.
  8. Sounds like you can try the guide for how to disassemble movement. With some luck, the fall just caused the hand to fall off. Shortly, screw off the caseback with a sticky ball / duc tape, remove stem and then lift out movement/dial/hands from the case. After that, just try to put the minute hand back onto the canon pinion. You could need some simple tools. Otherwise. you could also send the watch off to a forum watch maker (have the movement serviced while you're at it).
  9. Some things should just end up in a dumpster, not ebay
  10. Go 1685 style with a t39 and never look back
  11. All TDs have the same watches. Shame however that no maker/factory has done a "1:1" classic fusion, love the clean design of this model.
  12. Amazing. Love your work. Best vintage rep sub ever without a single gen part?
  13. Love the camo strap. Shame it's so hard to get ahold off.
  14. I have never been so surprised by a watch as the time I tried on my first Mille Metri. As long as you don't have that other crazy lug system, it's really easy to wear! Very happy bronze is available now!
  15. Welcome to RWG! This is indeed the friendliest rep forum and sure you'll enjoy your stay - just keep an eye on your bank account What watches are you interested in?
  16. Coincidence, actually held one of these in my hand today and was pleasantly surprised. Sturdy fantasy watch with a nice feeling to it, wouldn't swap the dial if I had one!
  17. Wow, great find - congrats! That baby will beef up any Sub. Bad thing is now all my inserts feel thin... [emoji107]
  18. Thank you! It was a long time collecting / modding parts to get what I wanted, really like how it ended up.
  19. Good morning guys, 1675 still on my wrist
  20. Have you ever serviced a movement? If not, I'd either advice on sending off to a pro or getting a new one for $50.
