  1. Think you've really hit your head on the nail with that now! Great combination of old and modern on that bezel insert and hand made feel to the case. Keep on feeding this thread with updates
  2. Dbane, sure nice to see that safe queen out again! She looks as beautiful as ever. Btw, almost forgot, 6152 with Hamilton 917 movement and sword hands today:
  3. The whoppy dial is for eta movement, or am I wrong?
  4. You have a MBW 5711 that just came up in the sales section here. Perhaps interesting?
  5. Welcome mate! What watches are you interested in? I'm also located in Stockholm btw, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
  6. Be sure to post when you have it - or even better a complete watch! Am on the fence for a 210 project, just need some more inspiration
  7. Perhaps he'd however be open for suggestions if we do signup threads here at RWG? Eg I could see projects like albino 6542 dial for eta being interesting - just to name one design...
  8. Great news. That v2 is good enough for me. Ordered.
  9. Most probably a 16760 insert. As far as I know 1675 only had blue/red inserts, 16750 were also sold with black inserts. If you like it, I guess you can squeeze it into your 1675 bezel?
  10. Mighty impressive parts sourcing. Love this 036, wear with absolute pride!
  11. Superb answer, think both those hands look good. What exact type from HR is it that you refer to, could you happen to have a link? E-mailed with him and we talked about "vintage 13mm" and he said he knew just what I was after - but was very disappointed about what I received... Thank you Micky, that would be awfully kind of you!!
  12. What set of h/m/s hands would you recommend for a gmt 6542 build, based on an eta 2836? Already have a small gmt hand from rafflestime. Appreciate help!
  13. Am late to the party and notice you having appraisals from the vintage Rolex gurus of this forum, nevertheless I must also salute you! Love that you decided to go with the unique 6350 and a gen dial on top of that. The superdome 22 and the plus crown gives the extra cherries on top, great work!
  14. You can't do anything better on this, perfection. Love the choice of red depth - that and the crazy bold insert really makes this stick out.
  15. Also retaining ring. Should be identical to the one from Phong.
  16. Gen crown needs a gen tube. Depends on what gen IWC parts you wish to add. Cost for crown and tube you can see via link above. Dial, hands, datewheel etc will add some extra $$$ - if you can source. A fresh ETA 7750 should be about $400, if buying used you might need to add funds for service. If you want a gen IWC movement instead ("7750 based") that should be up to $1000. Note - imo there's nothing wrong with the a7750, given I can use money for something else instead. As always with frankens, there's really no limit to what you can spend - after some time collecting you might realize you've spent more than a used gen costs...
  17. Wish you best of luck finding one!
