Hi there altesporsche and others, My feeling is that this will definitely go ahead. Rolli has had some good contacts with key people at the factory and has sent me a large pile of material (above that also given me a lot info over phone). I'm afraid however that I'm the obstacle for progress at the moment. Between supporting my first time 8 month pregnant wife, preparing apartment move and heavy period at work this task has been stuck on my side for a couple of weeks now... If interested, please shoot me a PM and I'll put you on interest list for this run. Don't take it as final, but after having looked this through my feeling would be a cost around 200-300 euros per case, which is fairly good compared to rivalling (imo not as good) pvd services.

What type of 5513? Meters/feet first, maxi, gilt, service etc?? Prices vary a lot depending on that.

Maybe I'm slow here on the logic... We're having this thread as to evaluate other option than the common choice TC. Gen Tudor "sub" hands are similar to those (but more expensive). Both these do not have longer minute hand as far as I know. By going gen, do you mean buying gen 1016 hands? In my opinion, one of the hardest spare parts to source today (although I think one member here has like 4 sets). So don't think that is an option - even if money is spent on a 1570 movement.

As you're using newer h-fac case (assume 005n instead 005k - or similar) youll need to replace the hex tube with a custom one and you may have to countersink crown area depending on the crown you'll be using. Assume lugs/midcase could also get some work, but am far from an expert on these cases (grimlocktime or rollis watchmaker have better eye for this).

I'd say about 1mm longer than a 5513 minute hand. Here's how 5513 hands look on my 1016: If that would have been 1016 hands they should just have touched the minute hashes. To me this is no big deal anymore. See so many 1016s for sale with replacement sub hands. But would of course be cool if there was a source for aftermarket hands!

^You're of course fully correct. That note was a copy-paste from VRF for the dial sizes (from Ivan iirc) - haven't looked that closely at the other info (trying to cover up lol!)
