  1. Those teaser pics looks mighty fine!
  2. Ingod is no more, look for other options
  3. I've seen gen 1016 service dials sold as low as $350. For $1500 you'd hopefully pay for gilt and rarer (chapter ring, exclamation etc). As always depends on your patience and will to scan the internet on hourly basis...if not gen, I prefer Yuki based on experienced quality, availability and price.
  4. Like that very much, glad to see you into vintage Rolex nowadays! Have you considered the Whoopy 1680 dial? Denimhead is selling one lumed by Big Daz.
  5. Thank you! That is indeed a gen gilt dial from ca 1966. Have owned "gilt style" dials from ingod, whoopy and yuki - but gen is another thing after all...
  6. 1016 has been with me all Christmas.
  7. Wow. Have never seen a yuki case/dial/hands set look better, fantastic. 1966 Rolex have a special place in my heart too, hope you take this with you a long time through life!

Got this update from him about a month ago: "The big crown project still under review and drawing finalizing, still need to revise some details to make it perfect"
  9. Think I can speak for all members when I say that we truly appreciate your efforts rolli! Really looking forward to your 201/202 batch - and will of course also keep eyes open for later possible projects...

Congrats, there you have a great parts list and $5k to spend on top of your 1530 movement. Now's the time to double check that this is really what you want...
  11. An incorrect one for the G, should have the engraved bridges.
  12. There is a very nice modded Hublot skeleton Tourby for sale in the M2M section here. Buy that one instead.
  13. Yes, there you go. Hands down best 5513 on the forum. Sweet harmony of gen rivet, faded kiss 4, malteser plots and, well - everything!
  14. Wow, thank you for those words - means awfully lot, especially coming from you whose knowledge I highly respect! Yes, it's a service t19. Had a superdomed plexi, which I had bought from a VRM dealer I've done business with earlier. Didn't fit the bezel however, and long story short it was sent back but I never got a refund... A fellow member here was kind enough to quickly assist me with a good deal on the t19 now fitted. Can mention for others btw that the case is a HH 5514. Akira should have most credit here, as he's the one who did the hard work (slight, but very precise reshape work of the case and the relume work on the hands to match dial). Very glad with how this build came through and the Donerix leather strap gives a good mix in the rotation (to the 7206, 6251h, 78360, 93150, phoenix bond nato just to name drop...).
  15. Dealers do not produce own watches, neither do they carry stock. Basically, all dealers can get stuff from the same sources/"factories"/makers. By choosing a TD you should be safe getting what you click into your basket on their website. Websites are often shut down = address changed. Keep a lookout for the latest addresses
  16. Thanks also everyone for all the kind comments! Found it interesting to see how diverse they were too - more or less everyone lifting up different pieces as their favorite. Funny, as that's more or like less like I feel when I open the box in the mornings (or evening before !) to pick the watch for the day - more or less different watches every day...
  17. Well, of course mate, here you go (pardon various dust, smudge and scratches!) :
  18. In my order - Wotancraft, Malio, Gunny.
  19. Great shot. Salt does good for drsd.
  20. +1, the dial feet should also be an indicator of what movement the dial is made for. If v72, then as you may know, also v23/mystery/cartel movement fit the subdial pinions (w limited functionality). Personally like your dial. Subdial printing looks off to me, but the gen coronet is a great addition and red is always red you know! Wish you all the best with this project btw - as others have mentioned - keep an eye on your bank account
  21. Thank you! Your eyes are playing tricks, it's a red back gen fat font gmt insert. For that other build we've been chatting about however...
