  1. Hey D a lot of the newer Quartz movements are are microstepper ones meaning they sweep like how Clinton is sweeping Trump. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  2. It is a good looking watch no doubt. Some details are also more accurate than the A7750 version. Congrats and wear her well. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  3. Well in this case, why don't you start with the ever staple stainless steel AP ROO diver? It is moderately priced in my opinion, much more accurate than any of the AP ROO chronograph reps, and a lot more reliable too.
  4. Hmm.. I am sorry to hear about that. But what is your definition of a "moderately" priced rep, and what is your preference inclined toward? Maybe I can help a little.
  5. Did you contact your dealer and if so what was his explanation? Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  6. Ok folks, good news! Well respected RWI member and modder@slaughterer (Slaughterer62 on RWI) would be setting up shop on RWG very soon! For those of you unfamiliar with him, slaughterer is a member who is a lot more active on RWI. He is well-reputed for his creative and unique set of watch modding skills, as well as having the ability to repair, service and utterly slaughter watches. Hence his chosen moniker. I believe that he is now based in Germany, having been expatriated from the USA after committing horological espionage involving the Russians and some random Burmese militia dudes. Well forget the background, what this means for our community is that we have a new watch modder and repair master based in EU. I have personally dealt with him on a few occasions and find his modification ideas to be unconventional and refreshing, bordering insanity and sometimes outright audacious. But the results have always been satisfactory and pleasing to the eye. The secret is never to ask him how it's done. After knowing one time, I decided then that I never want to ask again. The guy is talented and creative, and clever as a fox. I will let the guru speak for himself and introduce himself and his services properly. This is just an introductory post for those who want choices, and someone to work on your watches. He will take care of your watches well and do a good job (most of the time [emoji6]) Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  7. Watchless? What happened to your gen avenger 2? Or whatever it was called? Lol Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  8. No such thing as a 1:1 rep. Message crafted while smacking a sleeping friend with a bluefin tuna and fending off a hungry raccoon.
  9. The guy sold the same watches to multiple members. And I doubt that there would be a single watch delivered to anyone. Member also claims to ship from UK, but is based in Iceland, judging from his IP address. His listed email has been cancelled, and he has read but not responded to my PM. If anyone needs his name and address, please PM me. I would be happy to provide. A note of appreciation to member @bill33 for assisting with his details. Thank you sir.
  10. The difference lie in the appearance of the movement, the second one is decorated to look like a 3126 cal.
  11. Which specific model? The jf builds are generally better quality but could be less accurate than the noob ones. You have to be more specific. Message crafted while lashing a scammer with a thorned whip while trying to coax a confession out of him.
  12. It is a watch so rep, that the other rep watches huddle together on the other side and throw rocks at it.
  13. @Sogeha I think that you are a valuable recent addition to the community, and I appreciate your integration and participation. Your posts have shown us glimpses on the kind of guy you are, and you're the kind that we would like to see more of around here. Congrats on your milestone and I am sure there are many more 500 posts to come!
  14. Hi guys We were having issues printing the datewheels perfectly and that caused some delays with the production schedule. The good news is, the omega project is now a collaboration between edgematic, myself and another guy. We are looking to get them printed at a new source in Europe. Please stay tuned we are equally excited to be able to move forward with the printing with this new printer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Guys, Please take time to read the new sales rules, modified to allow non VIP members to post watches for sales as well, (limited to a value of $199 for non-VIP members). Please do be reminded at any sales can be deleted at the crew's discretion if we are uncomfortable in any way with the watch, the seller or the listing. I would also like to take the opportunity to ask members from trying to sell in chats or PMs, or to establish your own sales channel for dealing in watches or non-watch items like leather goods. We are talking about regularly buying multiple brand new watches or products and selling them here, in quantity instead of individually. We would be tightening up in this aspect where necessary to protect the community. Other than the above, please feel free to drop by the sales area, read the new sales rules, and enjoy yourselves! 16. Hey B you think it'll be useful to sticky this? Message crafted while smacking a wayward chicken with a salmon.
  17. +1. He is so modest that he wears all his gen rolexes at once, but under long shirt sleeves so as not to be too conspicuous.
  18. Lol.. I guess you do know your champagnes. What would you recommend for pouring down Edge's royal throat then?
  19. I thought that the Moet is an Elites Lounge exclusive? No? Much like the cuban cigars and fanciful magazines?
  20. The master of datewheels and one of the pioneers of AP frankens.. welcome back S!
  21. I think it's just a courtesy to let fellow members know the history and price paid for the watch. For example, watches won in raffles are typically sold at market values with discounts, and the watches are always declared as pieces won from raffles. The seller is in fact making good margins from selling the pieces won at raffles even at discounted prices, but this has not been an issue as long as the seller is open about it. Trying to discreetly profit from sales is not forbidden of course, but a practice frowned upon. All said, I think that your pieces ended up being priced fairly after some back and forth. Those are hard to get pieces with rare genuine parts in them and I think that there was a lot of appreciation for the watches. Message crafted while smacking a wayward chicken with a salmon.
  22. I think that imajedi has given you the same answer I would have given. So if you are looking for an unmodded, out of the box model, and you have listed the pros and cons yourself, I think that you should be able to make your own choice, knowing what you can live with, and what you cannot.
  23. Not even a good rep lol Message crafted while smacking a wayward chicken with a salmon.
  24. Yes I can if he's willing to send it to Singapore. Thanks for the heads up Thor. Message crafted while smacking a wayward chicken with a salmon.
  25. Lol if that be the case bro I would have aged 2 years annually hahaha Message crafted while smacking a wayward chicken with a salmon.
