From the GEN pic, you can see the difference with the dial markers - the gen doesn't have metallic outlines as does TTK's....other than that - nice watch.

Seems that alot of the 6th Gen POs have the incorrect size for the Omega symbol. Trusty came out with his version - Trusty's Ultimate 45 . Pics looks nice - but if you click the link, it will show the same pics as Josh.

Please keep in mind, that this thread is called - "Who is happy with Joe" and not who is [censored] off at Joe, or let's gang up on Joe (that has already been covered)...... There are many members, including myself, who are very thrilled and satisfied with Joe's work. I had two watches modded by Joe, which came back AWESOME. Joe has always taken time to answer my questions via e-mail and via phone. He's been upfront with me from the very first time we talked on the phone. As soon as I get my Omega SMP back, I will post some pics. Addtionally, I will also give Joe his due and much deserved credit for completing my mod project.

As it states in the title - WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL OF JOE's TUTORIALS? Just curious - what does it prove by taking away all of Joe's tutorials and threads? Is this some sort of punishment to Joe? Again, these are tutorials by Joe to help those, heck to help alot of people, on the "how-tos" of watch modding. I don't get it......

I plan on sending my MBW 16610 & LV to The Zigmeister. SHould I pack both watches together or seperately? This is going from the US to Canada. I know that many people have sent their watches to The Zigmeister from the US. Has anyone experienced any custom horror stories?

Thanks....I plan on installing, well have The Zigmeister, install Gen Tube & Crown, install a better insert (thanks to Palp), swap the datewheel with the Asian Sub datewheel and then re-lume the dial. Whooooo... any more mods that I can have done ?!?!?

Tribal, what do you think of this version? Come to think about it, what kind of MBW version do you think it is? I do have mods coming to this bad boy.

Here's my $ .02. I'm sure you mean well, but really, IMHO, this stuff does not belong here. I mean, we love watches- reps and gens - and love them even more when are mods are completed. However, the possibility of swapping out parts and returning it to KOSTCO or any store for that matter is wrong - legally wrong. Don't mean to be a ballbreaker, but do yourself a favor - I wouldn't be posting on how to get ahead by beating the system and crap like that. Again - my $.02.

Tribal- I have read about the older versions of MBWs and the newer version of MBWs. What's the difference? Also what does 1B mean? BTW - Great looking watch. Congrats. I have my MBW, but the datewheel will be replaced - too bold. As soon as the mods are done, I will post some pics.

Thanks! Ubiquitous had helped me out a ton with many of my questions (many many thanks Ubi !). Don't know if it's photos, but when I look at pics of a gen Sub, it looks like the date mag is much biger than mine. The crystal is the one that came with it. Never changed it. Don't know if the MBW subs can take the OEM crystals.

I had some fraud on my credit card as well. Not only did I ask for a chargeback, I asked them to close out this card and issue me a new card - preventing any more fraud on that card.....hope it works out for ya !

When he responded back, I pointed out more flaws, such as the bracelet and the clasp missing "Planet Ocean." I told him to take it to a AD and compare the watch to a gen - do you think he'll do it?

Take a look at this PO I found on the 'Bay - PO I e-mailed the seller telling him that I question the authenticity stating that the bezel pearl is off and the HE valve is too low as well as the missing orange outline on the insert. He wrote the following: "Not having another watch to compare it to I cant comment about the bezel insert and pearl. Nothing personal, I'm sure you mean well, but I already wrongly ended one auction early because someone had convinced me it was fake, only to later have it authenticated by an authorized dealer. So from now on I'm only going to trust my jeweler who has actually seen and handled these watches in person."
