  1. JLC Squadra Chrono compared to sub-c
  2. Otto Frei and Cousins.UK are part dealers. If it takes a gen dial it gets to another level, have just seen others with an off-1 but never noticed before.
  3. Hi and welcome to the forum. If You typed something like "watches" - confirmed:) Your search engine works! See You around
  4. Hi and welcome. 2 nice watches You have there already. Good luck on finding someone near, in Finland there is.
  5. KW PAM 382 not released yet and sure others ordered it earlier. Good news 4You is it seems to be sold out now (1st batch)
  6. vote for the TC V6 to be included definitely the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms PAM´s?
  7. I think its a better idea to just sell the posters at $9 without any raffle.
  8. You did well to update the story, unfortunately this didn´t have a happy end for You. 5 months and £500 gone. Use Your power to change the TD, the level of service from Toro, Supermirrors and Intime (TD on the other forum) is reliable and high (from my experience). Sell the broken ones on m2m, there is always someone ready to buy and able to fix them. The HE-valve problem is not a rare one.
  9. I just like the simple functionality of the unidirectional bezelring, so its these 2 deep fathoms divers for now
  10. The problem with gens is that even if You are wishing it for Years once it´s on the wrist it´s either not what was expected or the enthusiasm wears off after You "know" the watch - or You love it forever but have just one. I would go the super-rep-route, see which rep-models other members here are totally enthusiastic about and choose from those, than try them out and wear them for some months to decide. The gen-money will also soon be spent this way..... Plus in former times I was often afraid of damaging/ loosing the gen and now I can always wear whatever I want, expensive or vintage, whatever, it´s replaceable. And lucky enough they where all carefully chosen and work like a charm, no damage yet.
  11. And in another week a brand new "best ultimate" carbon version of the sec at 12 Chrono/ yellow encased dial will be released - the Bumblebee for....$788
  12. Hi, the AP Diver is a fantastic feeling and looking watch. The actual best version V6 is here http://www.torobravo...&product_id=699, Most members order an extra hornback strap from one of the forum strapmakers (Donerix and others) for it as they are not too satisfied with the straps those come with (except the rubber or SS).
  13. On the pics it looks fantastic. Would have to try one out for a week before deciding though. Fun caseback on the diver, had not seen that yet unless modded.
  14. Hi and welcome. My personal fav would be the Safari but the Montauk looks great too. Imho the AP Diver V5.1 or V6 in SS has even more "gen-like-feel" than the APRO 15400. The best 15400 version is the one with the Myota in SS (3 screws in the center of the rotor/ caseback). For rosegold the plating is quite resistant but again talking about the Chrono here http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_50&product_id=699, even members who have the gen say it´s fantastic and the only difference is weight, saw some awesome pics of that one. Good choices:)
  15. Ar and crystal really are as good as it gets and that bezel shines too. Congrats on Your FC. Think I couldn´t wait 5 months - unless I spent the time buying other watches that is.
  16. Hi, congrats on the super-rep and welcome again to the hobby. Just one thing, if You are EU You really should use the via UK shipping, specially for Fr. Lucky once is good enough already. Good decision on the ammo strap - they are something special, will be even more fun.
  17. Hi and welcome to the forum. 2 fantastic choices and nice watches.
  18. Hi and welcome to the rwgforum. It´s one of the top-watches, well repped, good-looking and high quality feel. Get it from tswatches, toro or one of the other TD´s as the V6 is the V6, there are no differences within the model. You will enjoy it a lot.
  19. They come in limited series as a marketing gag that really works. If the model sells well they make another similar limited series with a nicely decorated ETA:) In fact they are difficult to justify. I don´t have a Radiomir, neither a black PAM so wanted to go for the PAM505. Now comes the tricky part. If I wanted to buy a gen I possibly couldn´t justify more than one (because I need a Rolex/ an AP etc,) and if just one it would have to be one with CG lever and crownguard because it´s what makes them special. Summary: I simply can´t find a way to justify me spending another $8600 on a Radiomir assuming I already own one PAM. If I had none it would have to be another model as said with cg-lever. So - except for movie-stars - they are just too expensive.
  20. Backcase of the Abyss 42mm for a change, one of my fav watches
  21. Andei, those pics are awesome - love each one more than the other before - very nicely done, thanks for sharing those. Amazing skills:)
  22. Wow - congrats Doc. Seems You have a bit of love for Rolex:) Had to stop at six, really not enough, but first have to manage some plausibility issues for myself.... wonderful vintage collection You have too. Have to come back here to take a look at the reference list again... On to the next 1.000:)
