Try Mary at Watch International. She is known to go out and find certain watches that people are looking for. Just send her that pic and tell her if you want A7750 or A21j faux chronos etc.
sand it down by running the bezel along some 600 grit sandpaper. Hold the bezel perpendicular to the sandpaper so the outside edge is on the grit. The pull the insert along the sandpaper white rotating the insert as you slide it. This way it sands it smoothly around. If you just sand one spot you will get flat spots all the way around.
Then if you want you can touch up the outside edge with a felt pen or something. You probably wont see it anyways unless your insert isnt recessed below the top of the bezel.
I would just relume the dial and hands to whatever color or shade you want. The dial is not gen anyways so who cares. The hands may be gen Tudor but you can relume them also. If you ever want them back to the way they were, just relume them white again with Superluminova. No big deal. The only lume you DONT want to ever touch is tritium because you can't replace it later.

Ok i see the "R" stamped in the underside of the lug in the pic above. I have never seen that before and it does not exist on any gen.
Justasgood is probably correct. I cant see any other reason for it. This must be on cheaper models without anything engraved between the lugs.
I want to say its a Noobmariner because of the shallower rehaut... but the rest of it looks different than a Noobmariner...
I'd say its a mix of a few different 16610's out there.

If you want to build a 5512, then why not just start with an MBW5512
If you do a search you will find a thread about a new MBW5512 thats modded. It was a couple months ago.
This adaptor ring to retro-fit an ETA 2824-2 / 2784 movement to fit into a genuine Rolex cases using cal.1570.
Thats right off the website. 2836 and 2824 are interchangable. They will both fit the adaptor ring.
The ETA Yuki dials are made to work with the stock ETA datehwheel so the datewindow position is further to the right than a real Rolex dial. Its in the same position as on a Tudor Submariner and also as stated above its the wrong shape also.

Yeah I doubt its someone new.
Interesting that the page was modified on Monday, February 14, 2011 12:28:08 PM. Someone made some changes and i wonder if this person knows what happened to WM9....
Maybe your buddy Eric there knows something? Why would he have Admin control of the WM9 website unless he was directly working with George?
I bought one of those Bergeon caseback remover sets on ebay about 4 years ago. Its been one of the most valuable tools on my workbench and worth the investment.

I found a guy on ebay selling them for $8 but i have lost the link.
Afterall, these probably cost about 15 cents to produce, so even $8 seems outrageous to me!

Watchmaker9 (WM9) unfortunately has recently vanished along with a lot of members money... Do a quick search and you will find hundreds of posts on the subject

Good info!
I agree that you need a case that will take a gen crown. I am hoping the one from Josh will work. I'll replace the dial on that one, but Im waiting to find out it anyone has bought one and knows how the crystal fits.
