Im not a big fan of this watch but the dial and bezel sure do look cool. Its absolutely amazing how you make the lume look perfect on these bezels. Even in the closeups... its perfect. Great work! dizz

Im just sorta wondering if the rest of the watch is up for an improvement anytime soon. Better dial or case or anything. Maybe a proper sec@3 version of the Motors T chrono... The Bentley motors T is my favorite Breitling by far but the backwards (3&9) subdials is keeping me from building a custom one. Im in no big rush to get this started but i would have to get into it then find out theres a new model coming out or something.. just like the new improved SOSF that just came out from the 'noob factory'. Maybe the noob factory has some other exciting watches coming out soon? dizz

Does anyone know if any of the Bentley line is going to be improved to a quality the same as the Ultimate BCE with double AR? I want to build a NICE Bentley motors T or 6.75 with double AR and ETA movement... @Angus - Do you know of anything coming soon? I want to get a Bentley 6.75 and send it out for servicing and double AR... cheers dizz

I love black dials on all watches... white is tolerable.. never liked blue dials.

if they fit a gen tube that would be sweet... or use bk's tube on a MBW16610 so you dont get the little chunk of missing metal on the bottom of the case from drilling it for a gen tube. It will be interesting to see the specs. dizz

Yeah you have the asian movement from what i can see... same as the pics on his website.. the asian uses a BETTER shock protection system than the ETA version from what i understand, and apparently this movement is as good or better than the ETA so i wouldnt worry about the quality. I have the same watch with the same movement and its been very reliable and accurate.

Awesome bk!!! are you going to be making this crown/tube set avail for seperate purchase? Or just as an upgrade on a Sub? How is the new tube diameter compared to the gen? It looks not to bad from your pics. It looks perfect on the watch! dizz

I've been searching and cant find a tutorial on pam crystal swapping and or bezel removal.... well i finally received a new saphire AR crystal for my fiddy. It comes with the bezel already attached to the crystal. How do i get the old bezel off the watch? Just a razor blade and a sledge hammer? I have the proper crystal press ready to go. The nylon press is about the same diameter as the inside of the bezel so it should work. Or maybe i should just pop the crystal out of the bezel and not remove the bezel on the watch? whats you guys thoughts on this?

The cz's look very good. Its a very impressive watch all around. I compared this black dial BCE to a gen silver dial BCE with diamond bezel and i would challenge anyone who isnt a replica expert like us to notice any difference if they were laying side by side on a table.

Interesting.. would be nice to see one with the same quality as the Ultimate BCE rep. The date window and font on these reps is pretty small though.. its already hard enough to read on the gen watch. Heres a pic of a Gen i used to have... bought it and flipped it for a couple bux profit.

yes its expensive but just THINK of the vintage Daytona you could build with some DW parts!!!

Heres my Gen Flying B. AWESOME watch and a very cool jump hour movement.. time is hard to read in low light though.. its pretty cool but the jump hour is annoying because you cant tell the time with a quick "glance". This one if FULLY iced by my jeweller with si diamonds. I sold this one last month... way too expensive for me to keep.

Wow thats an awesome superdome!!! So whats the verdict? Superfranken? Im still not up to speed on these vintage models yet but this one looks pretty damn good to me. The white dial and hands throw it off a little but thats an easy fix if you want to age them a little. Nice looking watch regardless. dizz

My rolex guy says the first thing to check to authenticate a bracelet is the screws... just like freddy said. Its a for sure "tell" as to the authenticity. dizz

Stay away from the Sec@6 movement! Its a timebomb. Mine lasted 2 weeks. Go for an older style or a good sec@9 if you can find one. Im sure you've read The Zigmeisters review of the sec@6 conversion, but if not then you better read it before you buy one. dizz
