  1. I have to: the one that comes with noob version is really short for my 19,5cm wrist (7,68inch).
  2. Interesting one! Never seen that brand is it a gen or does any rep exist?
  3. Uhm... So since 23mm straps are impossible to find, should I got a 24 or a 22mm in your opinion? Thanks, GenTLe
  4. It matches perfectly! Very very nice result!
  5. Here: http://stores.ebay.com/linamarket/FOR-PANERAI-/_i.html?_fsub=552177119&_sid=1043351479&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322 I also sent them a mail asking if they can source this one, let's hope!
  6. Hi guys, can anyone owning the latest Noob Blancpain FF tell me the real lug width (on the gen site they say 23 but I'm not sure if this applies to the rep too) and the width of the strap at lug and buckle level? Thanks a lot, GenTLe
  7. Kernow, it's a Climax model, which has been registered in 1884, your one should be from around 1890.
  8. Big hands? So give a look to the Bronzo Panerai PAM382 47mm, LOVELY and one of the top rep of this year Andrew is a good guy, and yes, looks like he's always on the PC About the AR coating? Well, what is not written is not present. Back in 2006 the AR was not so commonly offered, so if it's not written (like for the superluminova) it may mean that it is not present. Also looking the pictures here it looks that way to me (but I may be wrong): http://imgur.com/a/AC7Et
  9. Welcome! And I also think they are properly branded: http://www.ebay.com/itm/16mm-18mm-Stainless-Steel-Polished-Watch-Bands-Buckle-Deployment-Clasp-OME-/310817373544?pt=US_Watch_Bands&var=&hash=item8e16610df3 well visible in the 3rd picture
  10. BUMP It is a correct behaviour as it's a quartz and in this specific model the minute has a step every 30 seconds. You also can align the hands without going to a watchsmith I suppose. Normally these movements have a way to align them without waiting midnight or midday.
  11. Just don't trust the other sites, they are 95% scam ones. Also note if they are showing pics with hands at 10:10 these are gen pictures, not reps... You can try to ask the dealers (the others, like Sead from Supermirrors or Tim (Fat Panda on RWG.bz)) if there is such model but it will be difficult. Eventually I'm sure your lady will appreciate a lot this too http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=86_131&product_id=342
  12. I will as probably the BP FF one will be too short for me. Just need to get if it's better to get a 22 or 24mm
  13. Ok, deal closed with BR03 88 with box and 2nd strap
  14. WOOOAHHHH... No way!!!!! I mean: they are very nice and perfectly done, but I will never spend such amount for a piece of canvas
  15. Still to get: the gen Blancpain is 23mm lug size, but I think 24 will fit. At least... I've to ask them: http://www.bradystraps.com/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=7&=SID What I got is that the BB FF comes with a strap that it's ok for wrist below 7 inch. Mine is 7.7... So I've to check out of for a substitute and looks like the one in the link upper is perfect
  16. Niiice! We may need something similar for the BlancPain FF that comes with a short black cordura strap. May I ask you where did you get it and how much did it cost? Thanks!
  17. Hi Damianc and welcome! May I ask a question? Aren't there top quality rep in Malaysia, like the ones from our dealers? Sorry if it seems a dumb question, but from the far EU I don't know the situation there
  18. Still my pam164, in front of my City castle from 13th century, at sunset (Focus on the castle)
  19. Actually I gave him 3 possibilities (considering that the BR 03 TA was on my wish list too, and that the Toro version has the correct gen-like lume, while PT one has a wrong green one): About the Rose Gold AP, I see 3 possibility: 1) Refund of 458*0.9(WU discount)=412.2$ as "gift" on my paypal account thegentle@libero.it 2) You put the Hublot and the Blancpain in a safe place with my name/order nr. on them. If within one month the Lord factory don't have a new batch of the AP, then I'll go for another watch or ask for refund. If the AP will then be available, so will go for it. 3) is this B&R BR03 Type Aviation (link below) in stock and provided with box, secondary nylon strap and documents as like from the other TDs? http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=24_47&product_id=975 I think it should be a fair offer. The Bronzo is great but I'm scared it will be too big for my 7.6 inch wrist (for what I see the 42<->44 mm ones are the best on it)... The Patek is very nice too, but it still not catching my heart... Thanks for the suggestions
  20. This is the gen one (photo courtesy of watchuseek): This is another less exposed shot:
  21. Uhm, the case is a Crescent one (or maybe an earlier Chicago Watch Case Co) -> http://mb.nawcc.org/showwiki.php?title=Crescent_Watch_Case_Co Also see: http://mb.nawcc.org/showthread.php?57306-Chicago-Watch-Case-Co-Info The movement looks older than 1880... More 1850, as it's a barred cylinder movement, but I can't say more about it.
