  1. Congratulations on your titanium Ingy! The AMG version is cool, sportier than the regular type. Weird that they fitted a SS crown to it... How is the dial? I hope that it is not chipped at the edges as the first version of the Ingenieur? Bær den med stolthet!
  2. I just came across this discussion on Timezone. Can't see that it has been mentioned here, so I thought it could be of interest. It is the classic "I want to buy this watch, but is it fake?" discussion. The watch in question is the timeless Seamaster Professional , Bond-watch. I belive that the watch in question is real; The pearl is a tad too good for a rep and the crown guards are excellent... It even has a serial number on the seven o'clock lug.. As far as I know it is only the newest SMP Chronograph replica and the ultimate PO which have an engraved serial number. I have never seen the Bond model replica with an engraved serial number.. The plast tag has the same number. The wave pattern on the dial looks a bit weak, though.. However. Several TZ members think this watch is fake.. End links looks wrong, Omega logo is wrong, hippocampus tail looks odd, font on "Professional Chronometer" looks odd... It is fun too see how they discuss the minor details, just like us! One interesting thing they mention is that the openings in the back of the endlinks for the spring bars are too square... "It should be more rounded". The funny thing is that my SMP replica actually has nice rounded openings for the spring bars! Anyway..here is the discussion. http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...ev=&reveal=
  3. Nice watch for a good price, I think it is original. Even though I thought the Seamaster GMT used a Seamaster clasp on the bracelet... Probably this is a somewhat older model.
  4. Congratulations.. It is indeed a beauty. How are the bezel-clicks, nice and firm I hope?
  5. The overall look of the watch and especially the day and month subdials is what immediately makes me think "Rep".. I dont know the entire excessive Breitling line. Breitling and some others manufactures do make watches with day and month subdials ( Montbrilliant Olympus..? ) but they are not ordinary stock.. Cheap chronograph-reps always have day/date subdials.. Just think of all those crappy Daytonas.. Except for that, if you like it, wear it Welcome to the club!
  6. Cool watches! The Aerospace is a "love it or hate it"... I like it! Also consider that, with it complex electronics, it will never be made any accurate replicas of it. The Aerospace is a true no-nonsese tool-watch, and second-hand are they great value for the money in my mind.. Yours are the Super-Quartz version as well. Wear them well!
  7. Suppose Doll-house wall clock replicas are legal..
  8. Nice to see something unusual. Personally, I think many quartz reps get too little attention here. Sunken date font is usually not an issue in quartz watches.. Since thay dont have the extra subdial transfer gears. Thats why some of the cheapie quartz-based Navitimer-replicas have an excellent date... while their four-times as expensive mechanical counterparts have a sunken date that stands out. For the non-perfect bracelet, I think you just have to live with it, or maybe grind it slightly.. Even the otherwise excellent Link-Chrono replicas have a somewhat rough finish on the inside of the bracelet. Thanks for an excellent review of an unusual watch!
  9. Cool watch! It looks serious! Vostok and Poljot are "lot of bang for the bucks" On eBay you can buy vintage Soviet watches for almost nothing... Lots of rubbish, but some nice vintage military pieces.. Check out the "Sthurmanskie" Chronograps.. Issued to the USSR Airforce navigators. They use a Valjoux 7734 copy movement.
  10. The Reverso from PC is nice.. However I think that it miss the JL logo on the dial.. Please correct me if I am wrong? The weakest link on the Reversos has been the tilting mechanism. I understand that this has been improved, but I have not read any reviews on this newest model.
  11. OMG!! This looks really good, even better than expected! Excellent date font, pearl, engravings on the band/ bracelet, crisp dial, AR... [censored]!.. Another watch I need to have.. where will it end...
  12. A very nice and collectible vintage Speedy! I belive the orange chrono seconds hands is also unoriginal, along with one of the pushers.. But these should not be expensive to replace..
  13. Congratulations on a nice watch! Seems like the date is slightly offset to the right on the Carrera chono, as it is on the Link Chrono. Not that it matters at all, a really good looker.
  14. No no... Do not listen to them. www.Idealwatches.com are the best!! No need to search this place for reliable dealers! Idealwatches are the only place where you can get true AA++ SWISS replicas with 24 Carat gold. I triple-guarantee you!!
  15. Weird... and funny! I think that Panerai is becoming a victim of the brands own sucess.. And they are trying to cash in on other spinoff products like travel clocks, wall clocks and even Cup pads like Paul is selling on Wo-Mart... Soon there will be Panerai After Shave, beer, tooth brushes and dust bins.. Just like the Harley Davidson brand was destroyed.

    Iwc Aquatimer

I also tried on the Aquatimer Ti at the AD, some weeks ago.. A plain, but beutyful watch. L ove that bezel which can be rotated by a little button. Precise "clicks" with a feel that no replica will ever manage to duplicate... I was not close on buying it at the AD, but it has given me some sleepless nights.. I have searced eBay and Timezones Sales Corner, but it is an expensive watch. I think PC has a sort of a fantasy replica with an alarm and no date.. Looks good, but far from the gen.
  17. Good story! A bit surprised that a boss would wear a rather bad replica, though..
  18. The ladies Breitling reps looks awful.. I think. But some lady Tags are ok.. Check By-Tors review of the lady Aquaracer. For my girlfriend, I just bought the Prada Vernice, from Trustytime. From the pictures, it looks like a cool watch, and pretty close to the gen. It is supposed to have an ETA-quartz movement. The box arrived empty, but a proper replacement is underways. I will do a short review when it arrives.
  19. I really like the Ingenieur, but am also waiting for them to fix at least the hands and date font.. The short hands just scream "replica".. On most "precision-watches" like the Inge, the tip of the minutes hand is perfectly aligned with the minutes track. There is also the pearlage on the inside of the clasp, which I understand is incorrect for the Inge. But, that does not bother me. If the "ultimate Inge" is never coming out.. there are always other watches to spend money on.
  20. A collection to be proud of! Every Omega collection should have the classic Moonwatch, though. Shame that you sold your reduced Speedmaster.
  21. This was my dress watch during all the pre-Christmas parties. Genuine leCoultre Master Mariner. Most people in here will probably find it smallish and boring (34.5mm), but I actually enjoyed it. Nice to have a break from all the big, heavy steel pieces. There is nothing like a genuine, and for official parties I feel that it is the right choice.. Did anybody break out in "Wow, what a fancy watch!!"? No, but as a gentleman in suit I rather choose the low-key look. It has the timeless "mainstream" look of so many watches from the 50-60 ties, but in my eyes it ozees quality. My 6263 was also out for a Christmas party. Of course, nobody noticed this as a Rolex: Both these watches are low, and fits well under a shirt sleeve
  22. Welcome to RWG! Good pictures of your watch, I have not seen that model before. As phoband said, if you like Breitling there are some very good models available.
  23. Anybody knows if the bracelet version will be available as well? I guess it uses the same Carrera-bracelet type as the regular non-chrono Carrera replica. I hope the bracelet will be as good as the Link-bracelet! Anyway... 2007 looks to be another good year for replicas!!!
  24. Finally! They have even managed to get a decent accurate design on the rotor. I don't have any display caseback chronographs yet... This one or the Hublot BB..?
