  1. If that watch had the solid case back (instead of the see-thru) it would be easier to sell it (replacing the whole movement would be cheaper) But nobody wants a watch with the see-thru case back AND an obviously fake/Asian movement Edit : Furthermore... it has the black Date Wheel.... it means that the watchsmith has to replace the date wheel on the spare movement (that usually have the white one)
  2. China 2813... http://stsupplyonline.com/catalog/chinese-movement-dg2813-p-11900.html?osCsid=bdee250e14630ea1a9e0f9465eef7316 http://stsupplyonline.com/catalog/chinese-movement-dg2813-pi-11900.html
  3. The only way to know the movement is to open the watch... Breitling used Venus and Landeron back in the 40's and 50's... http://www.breitling-museum.com/1940-1949.html http://www.breitling-museum.com/1950-1959.html
  4. They are solved (at least to me...) Many THX!
  5. Won't let me connect with Chrome/XP SP3 " ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH " No problem with Firefox...
  6. I just bought a "vintage" Submariner from Ryan for 128 USD... it has the infamous 2813 in it... Whenever it will break I will swap it with another 2813 that sells for 30-35 USD... Why bother to fix it? Even if I'll be unlucky I can buy three of them with the 100 USD that I saved in the beginning. Fingers crossed.
  7. The TDs are here... https://rwg.cc/forum/230-watches-clothing-parts-accessories/
  8. Guys, as already said : don't rely on pictures taken in different light situations, with different camera and lens etc. Best thing to do is take a picture of the gen and the rep side-by-side... only then you can judge any difference in colours and tonality.
  9. The only address I see is the link that a new member (TSWATCH itself?) has posted a couple of years ago... Who is that member? (nick : 6863 total posts : 1) A scammer (directing you to his own business) or the legitimate owner and TD in some other fora ? None of the team has spent a single word about that address...
  10. Just my 2 cents: Chronograph means many holes... Many holes means that it will be not easy (or more difficult) to make it waterproof to 100 mt. Why don't start with a simple sub? (I know, there are a lot of them on the market...)
  11. I was aware of puretime05... Nice to see that Andrew is online aswell... Thank you! Swiss Watch Federation lawyer? Do they know that our beloved fakes are worth less than 1/50th of their masterpieces? How may we harm their market? How am I supposed to buy an Audemar Piguet? Not even saving pennies for my the rest of my life...
  12. After PureTime even InTime has moved to another URL... and today Trusty doesn't work (at least to me) Are the hackers working so hard?
  13. POS indeed... My 116234 clone works fine until I wear it... but it stops after a couple of hours if I leave it in the drawer... Go to the watchsmith for a clean/lube of the movement or replace it...
  14. Personally I don't like the YachtMaster bezel (the lack of contrast between the numbers and the bezel itself...) Have you ever thought about it? My first choice would be the Oyster Perpetual... less "eye catching" and more "ordinary"
  15. Welcome to the RWI crowd (I'm not a member there but I always peep at your threads) Hope the issue will be fixed soon...
  16. LOL... Never seen before the "Silly Walk Watch"... One year ago I met Michael Palin's sister that was here in Massa for holidays. Of course I wasn't there at that time (GB - 1969 to 1974) but some echoes arrived to Italy later... Now with the internet magic we almost can see all the seiries/episodes... among my favorites are the "Dead Parrott" sketch, the "Argument Clinic", and the fabulous "Fish Licence" sketch...
  17. It took me a while to understand what POS was meaning... Ok... just stopped and no sign of life? Not even after a good wind?
  18. Good...please let us know about the shipping time and post some pics... Thank you!
