highoeyazmuhudee
thanks all for the continued encouragement. this is priced to compete directly with and replace MBKs offerings $399 - $450 depending on final costs of this little endeavour. im currently working on a 1680 case, then a tudor snowflake (some of you may have seen the less than accurate prototype to that already, its getting there) a 5513 is obvisouly my base for these so having that case is obvious, my 1680 however WILL fit a gen sized 1680 dial UNLIKE the MBK. after that im going to try and tackle an affordable yet 1:1 5510 case ( i have no idea how this project will work out) and lastly a 5517 which *shouldnt* be too hard since the base will be the same 5513 case but modified as a 5517, much preliminary research and collaboration is still needed for this one. i am also going to attempt a proper affordable 93150 bracelet, since there are no real good options that currently exist. i might just try the mid bracelet or a mid bracelet and clasp, hopefully the latter but probably not 580s in this mix (at least for a while) ambitious, i know i realise the picture of the dial was a bit blurry so i took a couple more, i assure you the markers are creamy white NOT yellow (white balance issues). grabbed a 1680 dial as well installed on an ETA movement to test the fitment. i *might* refine the COMEX caseback further. im in the process of purchasing a number punch after determining the correct sized number engravings for the back some more pics (crystal is shorter and more rounded than the MBK 5513)

panerai153
You do have a 1665 case working as well, correct? I am definitely in for the 1665 case, although a 1680 with a proper dial would be really nice. that would spolve the date alignment issues I'm having with my 1680. Great work, sincerely appreciated
omgiv
You are going to burn through my budget so fast!!!!! Thanks for the hard work. I would be down for one and several of the others you are planning. Do you know if your 1680 case will take a gen movement?
freddy333
$399 - $450 depending on final costs of this little endeavour. Now, I am impressed. Best crown I have seen on an aftermarket Comex caseback. Any chance you would sell 1 of these casebacks separately?
