ogladio Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Really like the look of this. How can one source one of those mkI/kissing 4 inserts?
droptopman Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Awesome case work. Beautiful piece Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
alligoat Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Nice job! I certainly like what you did with the bracelet- like a 9315. Where did the dial come from?
lukenorris2011 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Wow, that is beautiful!!! Amazing work! Life's a [censored], then you marry one!

dbane883 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Really like the look of this. How can one source one of those mkI/kissing 4 inserts? It's not a MKI OP. Great job on the case work.
Mendota Explorer Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 Beautiful. Really nice work with this. I didn't realize the 5513 and 5512 also had 2 dial iterations using 3,6,9 markers until I read this article featuring the collection of Mike Wood, who is a huge vintage collector. This is an excerpt and there is a link to the whole thing on VRF. http://www.vintagehour.com/11-submariner-55123-dial-variations-by-mike-wood/

Interesting to see the explorer I type coronet on that 3,6,9 dial rather than the larger crown like all the other versions ! If I am right, there are more 3,6,9 5513s. They were retailed in the UK only I have been told.
davids100 Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 there are more 3,6,9 5513s. They were retailed in the UK only I have been told. 5512 indeed
Bc1221 Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 Wow. Amazing work on the cgs. That polish job is amazing. I think "polex" case is MBK though. Not cartel.
