I am sure that was REALLY painful and a loooog 35km to the hospital.......i would sh*t my pants if my vision started to blurry. i hope you get well soon and suggest no tequila as you dont want to incurr further swelling. whats the prognosis? cc

Broken vessels in the occular region tend to look worse than they are, and you may have, as a physician has told you, what appears to be continual bleeding for some time. Maybe not, but be prepared just in case.Eye injuries sure are scary. Heal up and be well.

azerbyjam Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 ooh ouch :-( Hope you get better soon, it's as scary as hell the worry an eye injury brings. I took a rather nasty hit when I was 16 and never felt a pain like it. Luckily for me, with a good doctor, it was fine within a month :-)
