not much else to say other than wow
this is the kind of thing that makes this hobby interesting -- people always striving to make improvements and try new things.
puts the boring "i just bought this fancy new watch with my mastercard" to shame (not to say that there isn't a time and/or place for that)

not a tourbillon nanuq -- i meant an unbranded pilot's watch from our european watchmaker friend tourby (who now goes by "t" here on RWG)
but clearly that's not what you bought....perhaps one of these (i heard crazysalesman was having one of his legendary CRAAAZZY sales)

hmm....let's start a guessing game. my first guess (which i'm certain is wrong, but you have to start somewhere, right):
tourby pilot watch?

i'm assuming you were using the more recent v2 (ultimate) SA case as your starting point?
if so, i'm pretty sure chieftang has confirmed removing the crystal at the very least certainly isn't easy
good luck; hopefully you get there in time

thanks for sharing nanuq
whether they realize it or not, thems some lucky kids to have a guide like yourself to teach them life lessons and outdoor practicalities...
congrats on a great trip!!

the blue dial skyland is definitely a looker -- i'm wearing mine today
given the lume dots are really the only thing 'wrong' with the dial, another option is to have the dial relumed by vaccum or the zig meister
wear it well
deltatahoe
better watch than a submariner? maybe on the insides, but as far as looks, keep dreaming
no one will remember this gimmicky looking thing 4 years from now, forget about 40 years

particularly when they happen twice a week -- what's up with all these earthquakes??!
i knew i should have brought my camera to work today
deltatahoe
edit to add -- what's up with my smiley's?
now that's what i call helpful
that fingerprint makes for an intereresting look ubi -- call it art and you should be able to sell it for $10k
deltatahoe
holy smokes batman
i've definitely thought long and hard about this option; i'm pretty torn to be honest -- i may just end up selling it as is
deltatahoe
btw if you're really looking for a stumper (that's up your alley), i've got one for you -- help me find a genuine comex dial for my repaustria comex franken
deltatahoe
i'll be honest, i was wondering what had gotten into you after reading this post
as far as something to purchase, reg's 42mm POs for $100 are pretty hard to beat (and easy on the wallet)
deltatahoe
well clearly some people were pretty worked up about it tough to argue with stubborn RWG fanatics, huh?
meanwhile, ignorance is bliss in the novice section

lots of good advice here; as others have said, have an honest conversation with her, and put her mind at ease. as lani says if you get to the heart of the problem and put her concerns to rest then you may well be able to have your cake (daytona) and eat it too (still enjoy reps).

ps:
just in case somebody missed this gem
